The red armband folks over at the Washington Post should stick to their own kind and leave everybody else alone.
I’ve been saying for years ... make it unpleasant for them, and they’ll deport themselves.
When the self-deportation reality becomes known, the cat will really be out of the bag and there will be no more excuses not to crack down. We have to get over this hurdle, though, and in enough places before liberal judges can stop it. Then it will be a massive flood, I predict. The pundits (libs and compassionate conservatives all with a pro-illegal agenda) will all be left with silly smirks on their faces as they are proven wrong and the People proven right.

We spend hundreds of billions on the Dept. Of Homeland Security where they spent most of the last 6 years trying to convince us that fences don't work as fences, controlling illegal employment won't discourage illegals, and anti-illegal action at the local level won't have any effect.
They are still feeding us bovine excrement and telling us its Mexcan chocolate but action like this proves the common sense of everyday people is worth more than all the high level BS we get from Washington republicans and democrats.
Our federal government is disfunctional and run by arrogant idiots and will be the death of the country if we don't stop it soon.

The people are still there, but they are often avoiding going out on the streets or doing anything, and work is drying up. The next step will be for them to realize the jig is up, they should cut their losses, liquidate their properties, and it is best they then go and repatriate and fix their OWN countries.
It is coming. We have many hurdles but it IS COMING.

The GOP/GWB country club types will have profits squeezed since they will have to hire Americans and legal immigrants fair and square, and their stock options will dry up and junior might have to settle for UCSD instead of Stanford. Some people are going to be pretty angry!

The elite in this country cant see the forrest for the trees.When there is no middle class it will be the few rich and the majority dirt poor.Living behind the walls of a gated community will save you for just so long and then they will come for what you have.I cannot believe the elite dont understand that aspect.

In fact, in the wake of this initiative, other Virginia counties such as Loudoun and Fairfax have started to study the possibility of approving similar measures. In the case of Prince William, an appearance by 375 county residents, 70% of whom opposed the resolution, failed to prevent the authorities from approving the proposal, and they published a list of the services that they "recommend" be denied to undocumented immigrants. During the more than 12 hours of the meeting -- from 2 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. -- more than 1500 opponents of this measure gathered at the doors of the Prince William government building, shouting "Si se puede" ["Yes we can"] and "Not in my name. Rescind the Resolution." Despite its approval, the resolution will not become effective until 2008. Meanwhile the immigrant community's only hope is the appeal that was filed this month based on the presumptive unconstitutionality of the measure." -- El Tiempo Latino [The Latin Times]
The appropriate punishment for any judge who entertains that appeal is left as an exercise for the reader.
I truly agree with you sentiments. I want a real deterrent to illegal immigration. I want a fence with High tech surveillance and I want some effort made at the local level to encourage illegals to leave this country. However, with all due respect to you, I can not stand behind your quoted words. It has nothing to do with Hispanics. It is our sovereignty and security which is important to me.
As for the "so many in this country " who want to leave our borders open and allow the illegals to come in with impunity, they are shortsighted fools who don't understand why our sovereignty is essential to maintaining a viable country. They also don't understand that along with that sovereignty, comes the security they take for granted.
I also feel that there are a small number of folks who are not fools but traitors and Fifth Columnists who want the see America loose the struggle going on in the world today and eventually collapse. I have nothing to say to them.

It is like "once you safely reach Tucson, Jorge, give Uncle Eduardo up in San Bernardino a call and he will come down to pick you up". There is no denying this. If they move all together back to where they came from, legal, naturalized citizen or not legal alike, if it is a joint "illegal harboring" racket, underground railway enterprise nationwide, why then that will be just fine with me.

Very often the legals are mixed in with the illegal aliens
They live in the same house
They are members of the same family
Often you can have where dad is legal but mom and the two children are illegal.
Or you have two illegal aliens with 3 anchor babies who of course are legal
Oft times legal aliens are the major employers of illegal aliens
What I really despise is when illegal aliens complain about not having "papers" That's where you get that "undocumented " bs.
Then why haven't they done so in Mexico; it seems ripe for it...
