A major hurricane will very likely hit first, and though that localized rise in sea level won't last very long, it will be significant.
"In fact the judgement systematically refers to "errors" (using inverted commas, which the media have generally ignored), and has some wise words to say on the distinction between presenting and promoting partisan views, and the balanced presentation of controversial issues (which he decides does not require equal "air-time" for views which are held only by small minorities). However, in his analysis of the "errors"the judge has also expressed unwarranted confidence on several issues which are still the subject of considerable uncertainty among the scientific community. It would be fair to say that Al Gore presents the more extreme (concerned) end of the range of scientific opinion on several issues, and implies stronger evidence than is fair on several others. However, overall the film still achieves an exceptionally high standard of scientific accuracy, and it is regrettable that the judge has triggered a media storm by the injudicious use of the term "errors". "
We need more “deniers” to stand up and expose this hoax for what it is.
It was a marketing gimmick. Greenland was as much glaciated as now except there were a couple pockets on the south shore that were ice-free enough for some hardy farmers to try it. It's still a topic around the family dinner table: Eric was marginal.
Stossel tells the truth, and the leftists hate him for it. I’m suprised ABC hasn’t canned him for not spouting the RAT party line. TV reporters who step out of lockstep are reviled by their former comrades; look at Bernie Goldberg.
Thank God. I’m hoping that Fat Albert winning the NPP is the equivalent of pulling the thread that unravels the NPP foolishness and the global warming hysteria. (with apologies in advance for the mixed metaphors)
So I looked it up, and not in a Wikipedeia reference "edited" by liberals. Enjoy!

The failure of the Viking colony had to do with Church politics and poor agricultural management, but especially the Little Ice Age. Scandinavians were already old hands at dealing with cold weather, but in those days they couldn't respond to a worldwide cooling of the climate by building nuclear reactors. They had to move south.
Not as long as liberals remain able to block the path.
Don thy Asbestos Underwear Stossel.
Shouldn't Greenland be known as Iceland and vice versa?
And directly from the source material: Erik the Red's Saga: Chapter 2
"In the summer Eirik went to live in the land which he had discovered, and which he called Greenland, "Because," said he, "men will desire much the more to go there if the land has a good name."
Buyer beware.
George Mason University has a series of fantastic podcasts for the layman. They are here:
The label for the invisible graph reverses both colors: red = bad, blue = good.
So the result of the missing graph + reversed color schemes implies Antarctica is getting much, much worse!
“The UN’s IPCC - assuming you think they are accurate, but they ARE absolutely biased in “favor” of AGW theories and economic/socialist domination - predicts a 20 INCH rise in ocean levels over a period of 200-300 years.
Assuming the land itself doesn’t continue rising, as much of the northeast and Canada are actually doing as a rebound from the last Ice Age.”
Get in line, buddy!
Thanks for the ping!
So then we go to biofuels which will mostly be from palm plantations in Indonesia.
The islamofacists in Iraq and Afghanistan are models of sanity compared to the nutjobs in Indonesia!
BTTT
OOf. Thanks for noticing that. Apparently, the original images are no longer available.
Hmmmm.... I wonder why that might be....
