Lookit, mate — it isn’t as if the Liberals need to look particularly hard for ammo to use against us. So why is it desirable to spoon-feed it to them, and make it easier than it already is? Is it truly “sanctimonious” and “holier-than-thou” to point out that it isn’t overly helpful to provide them with our own words and attitudes from our own Forum?
You would have to be aware of the world-wide movement to abolish the Death Penalty, ay. It’s not just an informal movement, it is something that Governments around the globe are signing up to. There are no shortage of people who believe it is a barbaric punishment: so why play directly into their hands?
Surely there is nothing funny about the Death Penalty: and if there is, then maybe it shouldn’t be applied.
