I have a friend who is organizing a peaceful protest to the students at Boulder High who want to change the wording of the Pledge of Allegiance.
He is asking for any conservative activists who would like to attend to join him this thursday morning in front of Boulder High School at 8:30.
Please bring US Flags and be prepared to simply (and as Freepers, Loudly) say the Pledge of Allegiance.
Here is what he wrote in his email:
I am planning a PEACEFUL recital of the current pledge of allegiance outside Boulder High School on Thursday, October 4th at 8:30 am. The purpose of this counter-protest is to show support for the American flag and the pledge of Allegiance. I am asking people that show up to bring the American flag with them and show respect to the flag and to everyone else there.

I would rather build a wall around Boulder to keep the nuts in.
I understand the passion, but these students are just pawns in a political war. I’m going so that when they get gobsmacked over how badly they were propagandized in school they will realize that some of their fellow Boulderites felt differently.
It will be a quick rally, so for any of you colorado freepers who can show, please take a sec before work to come down to Boulder and say the pledge for the sake of the children of Boulder.

My friend Gerald, who is organizing this rally just emailed and said he was going to be on FOX 31 in Denver on wednesday and the Good Morning Colorado Show at 8:30 tomorow! I’m so pleased that he is stepping up. Somebody had to do it!
And believe me, there are TONS of Conservatives in Boulder County. I have met some of the most amazing conservatives of my life in this town. Its just that we continually get shouted down by the moonbats amongst us.
God Bless America! I plan to take my four year old and go after we drop my older children off at school.

But if those throngs don't appear, if yours is the only voice on the field that day, stand tall and say it loudly: "I pledge allegiance, to the flag ..."

A lot of us think of Boulder as liberal, but of course there are conservatives ....May your voices be heard!
It's also a beautiful, picturesque town....I'll always remember entering Boulder one gorgeous day when the autumn leaves were at their peak and the whole town was ablaze in reds, yellows, golds....it was breathtaking.

I can tell you there are some old timers who are pretty peeved at what liberalism hath wrought in their beautiful little town nestled next to the Rocky Mountains.
I was talking to one fellow conservative traveler and she just cried talking about it with me.
The public schools are just a wasteland of political correctness and ideological brainwashing in collectivism.
But a few of us can stand up for our Country in front of the school.

Someone needs to take those little Boulder twerps on a field trip to North Korea, or a refugee camp in Africa, so they can see more of the “one planet with rights and justice for all”
I had a friend former Prof at Denver Univ who used to take his econ students (most of them junior wannabe socialists) on trips behind the Iron Curtain and he said some of those
those socialist snobs would kiss the ground when they got back to America, after really seeing how the other side lived
My brother kissed the ground when he came home to America after his mormon mission to Brazil. And a friend who traveled to Israel for study abroad said that in the flight on the way home to America, someone started singing God Bless America and the whole plane load of people joined in.
These young idealists in Boulder simply have no clue. Our rally was a total success though. I am getting the after action report ready right now.
