September 27, 2007 San Diego, CA Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) is anticipating bringing his campaign to Wyoming this weekend to participate in the GOP Presidential Forums Charging to Victory 2008 state event. The forum is an opportunity for Hunter to share with Wyoming delegates the priorities of his candidacy and his goals as the presidential race continues.
This is going to be a great time to meet with Wyoming party members to hear from them what is on their minds and, at the same time, share my views on our nation and what I intend to achieve as President, said Hunter. I believe my message of building the military, enforcing our nations border, cutting taxes and promoting fair trade deals that do not send American jobs to China will be well received by the people of Wyoming.
The Wyoming Republican Party is hosting two presidential forums on Saturday, September 29th. The first will be held in Casper at Casper College Thunderbird gym at 10:00 a.m., followed by a second event at Central Wyoming College in Riverton at 5:00 p.m. At both events, Congressman Hunter will be provided an opportunity to address the audience and then engage in a question-and-answer session from Republican precinct committee men and women.
Congressman Hunter will be available for interviews throughout the day and the media are encouraged to contact Roy Tyler at (928) 941-1079 to schedule interviews.

Slow and steady wins the race.
If you’re a Hunter supporter from Wyoming, this would be a great time to call a talk show and/or write an editor’s letter.
damn this guy is right on every single issue. you’d think people would be flocking to his candidacy i wish he had a decent p.r. operation and the money to get his word out better...he’s great!
He's my 2nd choice, but could get to be first if he gets some traction...to do that he's going to have to quit playing nice guy and go on the attack of GOP "chickenhawks" FRed, Julie-annie, and the Romulan for their lack of military service. They are vulnerable on this crucial issue but he won't point it out!
I seriously doubt this candidate would stand any kind of chance in the national race against The Senator from NY.
Preliminary poll results are not good heading into the election. The press is fawning over her Health Care proposal, while, of course, missing that it would be the largest federal take over and tax increase in national history, while moving private sector choice out of Medicare all together.
If only other Republicans would catch a clue on the importance of immigration to the base and middle vote, besides just this guy.
Hot dang! I like Hunter’s message.
Personally I think the fact that he’s a traditional republican makes him a better candidate to face any of the democrats. I know that all of my blue collar democrat friends really like him.

Well, we can’t do much about the former but we surely CAN do something about the latter, because Duncan Hunter IS great! The sooner we do, the sooner Rep. Hunter can buy tv spots. And when he does that, wallets will open all over the country to him!
Please take the time to write a generous check to: Hunter for President TODAY, and send it to:

It is time for true Conservatives to rise up and support the one candidate who has a firm grip on what must be done to secure the future of our great nation, Duncan Hunter!
Thank you all, and God bless America.
” i wish he had a decent p.r. operation and the money to get his word out better...hes great!”
Still waiting for my bumper sticker (2weeks 3 emails and counting).
You’re right though. Hunter is the man, but with an organization as abysmall as his there is no way his message is going to get beyond the conservative political junkie class.
He needs to step up the press releases and e-blast every damn media and blog outlet, start making not only common sense, but using rhetoric and soundbites that will get national press, loudly attack the positions of the RINO frontrunners, and for #$%sakes return correspondences of people who have actually committed to voting for you and want to spread the word - one bumper sticker gets more eyeballs than going door-to-door to every house in Wyoming.
Go Hunter!!!

isn’t it the truth....bumper stickers are great and belive it or not...yard signs are excellant.... especially on big well groomed lawns ....the true impression is...here’s a successful person backing a substantial....candidate....
ANYWAYS...
we need about 100 hunter-clones in the sen. and twice that in the house......
whose with wilco and flat here?

Wyoming caucuses are 8 days before Iowa! : )
I agree. His website needs serious help.
The idea of having a "60 seconds with Duncan Hunter" audio feature is good, but the current recording has been the same for two months. Someone from the campaign could be following him with a laptop, recording software, and a microphone. Having him record something to put on the website every day would cost nothing and require very little time. Updating that feature would make the website seem active, and leaving a recording from two months ago makes the campaign appear to be inactive.
Two months ago, his website was going to start a campaign store. The original opening date was supposed to be August 1. The date was then pushed to August 10. Newer graphics just say "Coming soon," but two months of "Coming soon" makes the campaign appear to be inactive.
Duncan Hunter is my favorite candidate, but this campaign is not doing well.

Yeah, close your eyes and picture this:
A straight-talking, no-nonsense, prolife, military veteran with a spine,
on a stage with a dishonest socialist shrew.
Who d’ya think mom and pop are gonna trust?
Haha... this is brilliant!!!
While Romney et al. put all their $$$ into Iowa and New Hampshire, Hunter can sneak into Wyoming and, with his personal style of campaigning in that small state could actually steal the first delegates of the race!
This could be a HUGE blindside to the GOP.
Hunter bump
Update
I spoke too soon. My Hunter stickers were in my box this afternoon. Can’t wait for the first person to ask me “Who’s Duncan Hunter?”
Good. If you, or anyone needs bumper stickers, FReepmail me your address and I’ll be glad to get them out to you.
Thanks for the ping, B4DH
No, after “our Bill” in 1992, no one can ever again be criticized for a lack of military experience. The American people wouldn’t stand for such an attack because only a relatively small number have been in the military themselves.
You are one of the few on FR who understands the powerful support that HRC enjoys. Many will vote for her because they think they will “get something” out of her admnistration. They won’t, but they will fool themselves.
