AHMADINEJAD AT GROUND ZERO
Nealz Nuze/WSB Radio/USA Today ^ | September 20, 2007 | Neal Boortz/USA Today

Posted on 09/20/2007 9:33:01 AM PDT by Turret Gunner A20

This is worse than disgusting.

Iran's president is already causing a stir by coming to New York City and the United Nations. As if that wasn't bad enough, this Islamic fascist wants his personal tour of Ground Zero.

Instead of a resounding "You've got to be kidding," New York's Mayor Bloomberg originally went along, considering the idea that Ahmadinejad be escorted down to ground zero ... assumingly to pay his "respects." After the outrage that erupted yesterday afternoon, it's safe to say that Bloomberg may be having 2nd, 3rd and 4th thoughts.

Tax dollars are already paying for his NYPD and Secret Service security detail, while he visits New York. No doubt that his little trip downtown would also be paid for by American tax dollars.

Iran is a state supporter of terrorism. Iran is a known supporter and supplier of weapons for extremist who attack U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. The idea of letting this Muslim fascist visit ground zero, where he would most likely inwardly gloat over the successes of his terrorist brothers, is outrageous. There is not one ounce of doubt in my mind that pictures of this event would soon make their way around the Islamic world with captions such as "Courageous Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (peace be upon his beard) visits the site of Islam's great victory over the infidels of the Great Satan."

The only reason we're letting this SOB into this country in the first place is because we have to ... this is where the United Nations is headquartered. Here we have yet another argument for moving the UN headquarters somewhere else.

How grand would it be to watch the UN headquarters on the East River being imploded! Maybe we could conveniently forget to tell the delegations from Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia of the pending demolition and they could take the same ride those innocents took in the World Trade Towers. Mitt Romney had a good point, "Instead of entertaining Ahmadinejad, we should be indicting him."

Update: Finally a police spokesman has announced that they will not allow him to visit:

Another reason for the US to get out of the UN -- and the UN out of the US.

I would have no objection to taking Ahmanutjob to Ground Zero and burying him alive under a million tons of rubble.

No. We don’t have to let him in. What are they going to do, occupy our embassy in Tehran in response? Oh, right. Dhimmi Carter took care of that.

IWannaMakeJihad at Ground Zero? Not only NO, but HELL NO!

Talk radio should mobilize a turn out of all of lower Manhatten on that day to surround ground zero with a couple of hundred thosuand people...about 50 people deep. They should all bring bacon bits, ham hocks, and pig grease to use on the guy if he gets close.

This cannot...this MUST NOT be allowed. What a mocery and desecration of that site to even consider allowing it.

It’s simple to restrict him...the State Department can issue this restriction....

By treaty, we can’t easily restrict him from the UN nor his embassy but we can otherwise restrict his travel.....

The question is, where is our State Department on this? Where are our Congressional leaders? Our President?

Restrict “NutJobs” movement today!

I believe we do have to allow him passage to the UN, but we don’t have to allow him access to anywhere else on our soil!!

Yes Bloomberg is an idiot, but President Bush was asked what he thought about this request at today’s press conference and, rather than prohibiting it, he indicated that the issue was a local determination.

If Ahmadinejad went there, he’d unquestionably sing the praises of the 9/11 hijackers and wish violent death on all Americans. The upside would be seeing the moron Bloomberg trying to explain why it was a good idea to begin with.

Another 300 post on this subject was just pulled because of inappropriate comments--people, play nice!

I hope that *if* this Imgonnastartajihad does do the tourist thing in NYC, then he will be FReeped everywhere he goes!! >:-(

And playing devil's advocate here, but it occurred to me that if he's assassinated while in NYC, that would be THE perfect reason for Iran to declare war on the USA, wouldn't it? Perfectly legitimate if your leader is killed! I think this fellow is crazy enough to martyr himself here to further Iran's nuclear future and turn NYC into a glass parking lot. :-( Please, FReepers, keep your heads. Think of consequences. FReep this idiot back to Iran safely. Oh, and IMO, ALL Federal funding should be pulled IMMEDIATELY from Columbia University for aiding and abetting a terrorist and declared enemy of the United States of America. Period.

I’ve got an idea. Let’s revoke Imadingdong’s diplomatic status the instant his plane touches down. Arrest him, and strap him to a chair where FOXNEWS is playing continually. Lock his head in a vice and his eyelids open like in “A Clockwork Orange” so he can’t look away. Declare war on Iran and let the bombing begin! Let him watch while the U.S. Air Force destroys his entire military machine, including his “new” F-5 copies, in about 24 hours. When he gets hungry, offer him all the pork rinds, bacon, pork chops, non-beef hot dogs, etc., that he can eat. Charge him with the kidnapping of our people in ‘79. Charge him with being a state sponsor of terrorism. Charge him with the deaths of all our soldiers in Iraq due to Iranian agents. Then, in a very public way, hang him with the full media in attendance, and carry it live on all the major networks. Use pig intestines for rope. Sew his miserable carcass into a pigskin (after stuffing it with various pig parts), then dump it into the offal of a pig slaughterhouse while the relatives of the victims of 9/11 look on and cheer. State that this will be the fate of all terrorists caught in future by the USA.

Sigh. I know, our government would never do something so politically incorrect - never mind if it’s the right thing to do.

But a man can still dream.

Columbia U has tunnels that go from the campus to various locations throughout the city. Some are mapped, some are only known via group status amoung school club members.

Entry into the United States pursuant to the UN treaty does not confer the right to travel within the US.

This is not a local issue. It's the responsibility of the Executive Branch, usually run out of the State Department but well within the prerogatives of the President to allow or forbid.

Only if travel outside of the UN headquarters area, and transit corridors to and from it from the airport, is allowed by the national government does the NYPD get a voice in the matter.

I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, but we are ALREADY at war with them. Up until the Peanut Pansy, an invasion of a foreign embassy by a government was equivalent to a declaration of war on that embassy’s country. Whacking the little dwarf could be legally justified in the world court. We should certainly arrest him and charge him with kidnapping.
