It’s just like Democrats to hide behind women and children, isn’t it?
The Democrat candidates tend to do that quite a lot.
Once again, Edwards proves he’s not man enough to fight his own battles and sends his wife off to do it.
Perhaps he should drop out and she should run in his stead.
Oh, she’s so right. So now, I’ll vote for her husband...NOT!
This statement by Mrs. Edwards completely destroys the next series of MoveOn ads that target President Bush.
GWB will get a bump in the polls from this Democratic debacle (and he’s not even running for re-election!)...
Did the pony put her up to this or is she hoping he’ll tag along?
I doubt he’s sending her out to do any heavy lifting. He’s sending her out because he can’t come out. In other words she’s lying.
Breck Girl too busy preening to make an appearance?
I cannot figure out which one is running for President.
His Iraq numbers are already notching up now. We’re lucky that the left has so many kooks that do stuff like this. And they run rotten candidates most of the time too.
That’s nice. The damage has been done, mission accomplished, yadayada.
Useless meaningless apologies a’la William the Impeached.
The Drive-By Media’s continual hawking of Liz obscures the fact that there is absolutely no rationale why any American has any discernible reason to listen to her views on any subject.
I’m SO over Edwards’ and Obama’s wives. They’re both camera whores.
remind me again which one of them is running for president.
When socialist wankers like Elizabeth Edwards and Tom Harkin have to distance themselves then we know that MoveOn.scum has put the left in an awkward position. OTOH, instead of going for her own “Sister Soujah” moment of showing the nation she is not really such a far-left twit, Hillary Clinton instead chose to pile on with her depraved attacks on General Petraeus. Shrillery showed yet again why she is unfit for higher office (or any office), and why she will never be President. [ok, wishful thinking here, but I do expect her words this week will come back to haunt her if she should become the nominee of the socialists]
“What’s his opinion on MoveOn.org?”
It’s just a bumper sticker...
Good observation. The upside for us is that Bush's popularity rally here means he can start to effectively campaign for other candidates - something he does very well when given the opportunity.
There are a bunch of disgusting comments on the article.
When you leave FR and go out into the other cyberworld...it’s pretty ugly.
Rush says they come out because they are women. The male dem candidates to not feel it is proper to come out against hildabeast, a woman. Therefore, their wives as women can attack another woman. Now our male republicans are NOT in that same mind set as far as hildabeast is concerned.
“Im SO over Edwards and Obamas wives. Theyre both camera whores.”
Yes..and given the democrats proclivity for clinical psychological projection..you can be sure that Obama’s wife is the one that is a bit ‘stinky’...and Edwards wife is the one who is ‘gay’! LOL
It's not PC for the Dem-men to attack Clinton because she has a Boob.
Imagine the Feminazis going after "the Rat boys" for attacking Clintoon!
It is what it is.. Political-Freeking-Correctness.
There, I said it. I feeeeeel so much better now.
Am I the only one who sees this for what it is?
/Salute
Apparently his wife knows more than he does!
Rose: Let me ask you one last question about Iraq, because it’s part of the political debate in some quarters. Moveon.org’s advertisement, do you think it was the appropriate thing to do?
Edwards: I don’t know if I’ve seen it, Charlie. Tell me what it is.
Rose: Basically they used Petraeus in a play off of betrayal. General Betrayal.
Edwards: I’m sorry. I just haven’t seen it. So it’s hard for me to comment on it. I do think that what I’ve heard from Gen. Petraeus is not focused on the fundamental question as I’ve just talked about. And I think, unless and until there’s some political progress, which I have seen none of, the Congress needs to force Bush to change course.
Rose: Do you believe he’s simply reflecting what the president wants?
Edwards: You mean, Gen. Petraeus?
Rose: Yes.
Edwards: There’s no way for me to know that. I think that anything that comes through the administration and the White House has a PR spin on it. That’s been true through the entire war. It’s one of the reasons that the American people have lost faith in this president. They don’t think he’s being open and straight with them, and they don’the and the vice president, Cheney, and the result is they don’t listen to what he says anymore. Anything that comes through the filter of the White House and comes through somebody speaking on behalf of the administration, I think has the same kind of issue.
Probably just wishful thinking but I believe the “betray us” ad by Soros’ boy is going to come back to haunt the DemocRATS. JMO. Real Americans will not tolerate that kind of childish crap.

Following is a pix of jonni's balls.
souljah’s arse.
I do not plan to vite for her husband, but it is refreshing to see a Democrat with enough sense to identify something that is in poor taste and enough backbone to state her opinion and stance on the issue.
All the dim candidates are hiding behind skirts again. That seems to be the terrorists’ MO too. Hellary is the only one not hiding behind a skirt, because she is UGLY in a skirt, so X-42 wears the skirts.
Whats wrong, they are both helping the GOP candidates.
I am convinced Ann Coulter was right about him.
I hear more about his wife than I do about John.
Too busy hiding behind her skirts.
Joan Edwards - I meant John Edwards - wasted no time attacking Petraeus and bleating about “bringing the troops home”.
Boy, that's a pretty damning statement on Mrs. John Edwards behalf wasn't it? /s
Where was John, cleaning house and scheduling Mrs. John Edwards next campaign stop?
Theres no way for me to know that.
Edwards: I dont know if Ive seen it, Charlie.
So its hard for me to comment on it.
Presidential material there! /s
The reporter's cat spied someone hiding behind the drapes.
I guess he(?) was to busy trying on a new dress.
