Tony Snow to appear on Fox and Friends
Tony Snow to appear on Fox and Friends this morning
He is saving the best for last; I have already seen him on CNN and MSNBC. He is SOOOOOO good and now that he is out of the administration he will be free to speak much more often about our war on terror, the greatness of our troops, and the determination of this President. He was terrific on both those liberal stations.
PS: Mika is a child, along with all the rest of the haters on MSNBC. They really do need to grow up over there and stop the hate speech and lies.
What time?...... I have to go to the lab at 8am!
Tony is outstanding!
I am looking forward to seeing him. I can stay for a little while before I have to leave to run some errands.
Eek! the Lab? ((((hugs))))
They said it would be in a few minutes.
Unless he comes on FNC in the next five minutes, I will miss him also (early meeting this morning). But I’m sure we will get a nice replay from several posters here, and if I do miss him, I will look forward to reading what they have to say.
Sad to see him leave as he has been an excellent Press Secretary, but glad on the other hand, as we will hear him and see him much more often.
Tony is THE BEST!
LOL at the keyword that appeared.
I will do my best
Tony is on
Tony is speaking to the President’s speech about Iraq.
What we have seen is success in Iraq
LOL Steve Doocy asked if he’d be taking Helen Thomas out for lunch. Tony said, since you’d mentioned it, I will make a point of doing that sometime soon.
Tony flat out lied to her and to everyone listening.
I missed it :( By about 5 minutes, apparently.
It IS a little after 4 AM here. But thanks for the heads’ up.
You are insane.
:-) FNC might have that clip on the website later. It was short and a good interview.
:-) Thank you, USS Alaska!
Saw him last night on Beck’s show. Sorry to see him leaving the White House, but I think he’s doing it for his family, and I think it’s a good move for him.
Hehehehe!
He looks relaxed and happy, so good for him!
Good luck Tony. I hope he writes a book. I love his perspective on some thing. Imigration reform not one of them however.
:-)
Oh Please. My mother taught me if you don't have something good to say about somebody (especially somebody with a chronic illness)...then don't say anything at all.
God bless you Tony, for carrying on in the face of such adversity. The highest accolade I can think of is that you are one tough son of a bitch.
I love that man. I continue to pray for his recovery and that he will remain a public figure for many years to come. His wit is just too good not to share.
Thank you Tony for your dedicated service. I didnt agree with your BS about immigration but you have done a fantastic job. May God continue to look over you as you battle your health problems. I sure hope that the White House puts someone in place with the same backbone of steel unlike that spineless jellyfish prior to Tony.
Thanks for praying for our friend, Tony.
I saw him on air while he was on the most aggressive part of the chemo treatment. He looked much better.
He’s on regular maintenance and he’s been working out very strenuously.
Thanks for such a great post for Tony.
That sounds like a lot of money, but remember where he lives. Also, don’t forget all of the medical bills he has had to deal with - and that his home burned a few years ago, and he had to deal with that.
Betcha next time El Rushbo needs to take a day off to go golfing, Tony will be behind the Golden EIB microphone! :-)
I was and remain a great Tony Snow fan. He brought a bit more bite, decorum, and humor to the Press Secretary’s role, but unfortunately, he was not able to help this administration win the media war that a conservative president will always have with the MSM.
Ronald Reagan did it because he was the great communicator. It appears that conservatives should look to the skills of the president in communicating, if they want to effectively deal with the media. I’ll admit that there are not many Reagans out there, but I’ll also admit that Pres. Bush gives a good speech, but appears to be giving a speech. He gives some good answers, but his style doesn’t capture.
I don’t know how Reagan located the pot of stardust that separated him from the rest, but we better find it.
Thanks for the ping!
That would be great for us :-)
He is leaving as gracefully as he arrived.
Tony said something that made me think. He said people come and serve in Washington and then return back to the real world. [My words.] Perhaps, if Congress would lower and not raise Congressional pay, those folks would be forced to follow Tony’s example and return to the real world to earn an honest living.
We need term limits to get rid to these elite politicians who try and legislate every aspect of our lives. Barring term limits, maybe low pay would drive them out.
No effort here to draw a nexus between Tony and the clowns in Congress. Just drawing an analogy.
Tony has been a breath of fresh air. Fortunately, Dana Perino, who has really flourished under Tony’s reign, will take over. I feel confident she will take every effort to maintain Tony’s high standards.
What bothers me most is that Tony looks like a Greek god compared to how I look. If people keeping making these negative comments about Tony’s appearance, what am I to think. I’ll start getting a real complex.
I guess as long as Mrs. FOXY thinks I look OK, I’ll be fine. [You do, doncha, Tarheel?]
I find myself watching less and less of Fox and Friends during the week. Its a bad mix with two male amature comedians with no real talent for it, and Gretchen ‘My eyes cross if I think to hard’ Carlson.
The bad news is they are making Morning Joe seem intelligent over on MSNBC, even with Mika Brezinski pouting.
Problem is, their official pay and their official perks are just frosting on their cake.
They have control of the most valuable resources on the planet: The Law, and The Taxpayer's Pocket. With these things at your disposal, you hardly need draw a salary.
I can understand that. I enjoy watching Steve and Brian because they are smart and funny—but that’s because I’m a gal.
I forgot about his house burning down. Even though he says he’s not resigning for health reasons I’m sure his medical bills are enormous. The cynical side to me says maybe his wife is spending money faster than he makes it but I won’t say that. Oops. LOL
You are quite right and that is why there are so many millionaires in the Senate. But some of that greasing of palms and outright corruption takes time and of course experience. My hope would be that a fairly good turn over in politicians would cut back on their flagrant ability to fleece us. Kind of a sliding scale; the longer the time in office the more likely to be corrupt and the longer in office the more severe the corruption.
I have met the gracious Mrs. Snow and she was as nice as could be. And while she was very pretty, she was adorned not with jewelry, but with the Snow children that she was “entertaining” while Tony gave a speech. The expensive clothes that night were worn by Tony, not his wife. [And justifiably as he gave a speech to a sell out crowd.]
So I suspect that the driving force for Tony’s finances may well be the looming cost of putting three kids thru college!
