The police chief in the northwestern Wisconsin community of Frederic says he's arrested a man wanted on felony charges that include funding terrorism.
Chief R.J. Severude says one of his officers stopped a van this morning about 11:30 a.m., and when the man's Minnesota driver's license was checked there were felony warrants for him.
According to the chief, the man has fugitive warrants for money laundering, drug trafficking and financing terrorist attacks inside and outside the U.S.
Frederic is a Polk County village of about 1,250 people.

Hey, everyone does their part...no more 9-11s?
Maybe overly-optimistic, but a nice thought on this day.

It’s refreshing that the small-town Wisconsin cop takes the initiative to actually check on someone. Not only doing the job to protect and serve his village, but America as well. Kudos!
To: ButThreeLeftsDo
So how much did he contribute to Hillary’s campaign and how much of it will Hillary be giving back?
To: ButThreeLeftsDo
He should of shot him saying he was trying to get away, this way it will save the ACLU money in defending his right to kill Americans.

I bet he was just trying to get to the fish-fry at Serb Hall in Milwaukee.
You know how these Serb terrorists are everywhere.

(not saying all the Serbs are on the side of the angels...
but I suspect the detainee is absolutely NOT a Serb.)

What’s with the smile? The two Egyptians arrested prowling around the military base in SC with their pipe bombs were grinning like fools in their mug shots.
Is it the latest Muzzie technique to make them look warm and fuzzy, just sweet little things picked upon by the evil Americans?

I read the title and was momentarily relieved that there was no Minnesota connection. Then I read further:
and when the man's Minnesota driver's license was checked there were felony warrants for him.
DAMMIT! Why does it ALWAYS have to have a MN connection?

Because of our open arms policies and sanctuary cities.

UPDATE: Nothing to see here....move along.....
Just a drug dealer, no ties to terror....
Mmmmmkay.....
“On Tuesday evening, the police chief in the northwestern Wisconsin community of Frederic said he had arrested a man wanted on charges of funding terrorism. 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has learned it was a big misunderstanding.
Chief R.J. Severude said one of his officers stopped a van this morning about 11:30 a.m., and when the man’s Minnesota driver’s license was checked there were felony warrants for him.
The man was wanted for federal drug warrants. However, Severude also stated that he thought the fugitive was wanted for money laundering and financing terrorist attacks inside and outside the U.S.
But the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Milwaukee office issued a statement Tuesday night saying that the man had only a warrant from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
“He’s wanted on a drug warrant, but he is not wanted by the FBI and he has no nexus to terrorism,” the statement said. “He is not on a terrorist watch list either.”
Severude said the confusion was a result of the sixth anniversary of Sept. 11 and scanner traffic.”

Sometimes the LEO’s really screw up and deserve some derision...
Not in this case. Better safe, than sorry.
The fact that the FBI hushed this one up so quickly has me thinking that there’s more to this...
Just my humble opinion.
