A lot of Freepers work with systems. Any of you ever know of an upgrade to only take the allotted amount of time?

I cannot support the NRA because they stand by and allow one more gun law after another to be enforced without finding a proxy to support for a Supreme Court showdown.

I totally agree with you. When the NRA gives a B rating to Romney for his signing of a PERMANENT AWB when he was Gov. of Massachusetts, it is time to evaluate the NRA's relevance to our rights.

The union zombies voted this thug into office twice!!Here in PA they love politicians who raise every fee and tax they can get their hands on. Rendell need not fear. If he runs for a third term he will win it easily.

I suppose a slick lawyer like fasteddie will now redefine the word INFRINGED to suit his own agenda!

It already has, from Lady Lawyer, a Romney supporter, on FR to me dated 08/12/2007 12:16:44 PM EDT No constitutional rights are absolute. All are “restricted” in some way

In the same thread she posted, I am not a liberal. I don’t believe that the constitution is fluid. I am simply stating a fact. At some point, each constitutional right runs into a reality that requires anyone with common sense to say that here is a “limitation.”

She is just another RINO out to shred the Constitution.

Rendell is hopeless (and not just on this issue), but GOA is much more likely than the NRA to convince enough PA voters to dump state legislators who promote/allow this crap. GOA mainly focuses on national offices and federal legislation at this point, but with more contributing members, it would have the capacity to be more active at the state level. The NRA’s intense promotion of the idea that the main reason to have a gun is for “sport” reinforces the already widespread notion that there’s nothing dangerous about registration schemes. Who cares if the government knows what toys you have?

I wish the gun dealers — ALL Pennsylvania dealers working together — would simply, with public notice, announce they that will be selling as usual during this period, and that if the governor wants the sales run through the background checker, it’s up to him to make sure it remains operational. If anyone gave them (and/or any buyers) any trouble about this, it would set up a very nice federal case, since it’s pretty clear that outlawing all gun sales in an entire state for any period of time is an “infringement”, and attempting to pull the licenses of, or impose significant fines on all dealers in the state for refusing to comply with such an outlawing would get the full attention of pro-RKBA forces.

Thanks T1. We’re in agreement here. Glad to know...

The GOA is useless. They have never accomplished a single thing.

If you doubt that, name a single thing they have done on their own.

I have to wonder how many ‘stay at home voters and we’ll show you’ are begining to wonder what wrong they did?

I sure hope they are proud to let the libs run this state, the congress and the senate, the libs are really stirring everything up and us pubbies are just sitting around....

What to do?

Start with voting every dirty, cheating, stealing lib out of office, and that would let the pubbies run everything for once!
