The United American Committee, America’s largest educational grassroots organization against the threat of radical Islam, is planning a counter protest on Sunday, September 9th of an annual parade in New York City which in years past has attracted thousands of Islamist extremists carrying signs and chanting for the destruction of America.
The parade, titled the Annual Muslim Day Parade, is sponsored by several Islamist organizations deemed by many Americans to be radical and a danger to freedom. Past parades have included such extremists as Ashrafuzzaman Khan, accused death squad leader, as well as Siraj Wahhaj, unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
The Parade route will head South, starting at Madison & 41st street and ends at Madison & 23rd. The parade starts at 12 Noon. UAC is urging all concerned Americans to join with them and several other unannounced partner organizations for a peaceful demonstration. Attendees are urged to bring American and U.A.C. flags. Actually, they had a march near Washington DC I remember this being in March or April and were chanting ‘nuke Washington’. I wish I could find that article and news sound file.

The main one is that Congressional seats are calculated on the presence of warm bodies, whether registered to vote or not, whether citizens or not, whether illegal or not. That has shifted Congress toward the Dems in the last elections.

ORGANIZERS OF MUSLIM DAY PARADE REMOVE KEITH ELLISON FLYER FROM WEBSITE, FUELING SPECULATION
AMERICANS AGAINST HATE ANNOUNCES LOCATION AND TIME OF PROTEST AGAINST PARADE AND ELLISON
(Coral Springs, FL) The Muslim Foundation of America.(MFA) has removed from its website a flyer containing a picture of Congressman Keith Ellison, advertising him as the Grand Marshal of its upcoming 22nd annual Muslim Day Parade taking place in New York City. The flyer was posted to the homepage of the group’s site, last week. A photo of a mosque has taken its place.
According to one blog written by Ellison supporter Abdi Aynte, the Congressman’s office claims that he “declined the offer to be the grand marshal a long time ago because he has other obligations in the district.” Yet a flyer announcing Ellison as Grand Marshal of this year’s parade was placed on MFA’s website just last week. The flyer contains a picture of Ellison and reads, “22nd American Muslim Day Parade... Grand Marshall Congressman Keith Ellison and other National Muslim Leaders.”
The change of content on the MFA site has fueled speculation that the Congressman had cancelled his appearance due to recent reports about the extremism of individuals and groups that are or have been associated with the parade. Past Marshals of the parade have been found to be Islamist radicals. They include unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Siraj Wahhaj, and accused death squad leader of the 1971 Bangladesh genocide, Ashrafuzzaman Khan. As well, many of the organizations co-sponsoring the parade have various ties to militant Islamic groups.
Joe Kaufman, the Chairman of Americans Against Hate (AAH), stated, “It seems odd that the organizers of the parade would advertise Congressman Ellison’s participation in the parade for nearly a week, if he had no intention of being involved in the event. Regardless, though, we will not be changing our plans to protest both the parade and Ellison.”
Americans Against Hate’s protest will be taking place in New York City on September 9th.
Protestors are asked to arrive at 12:30 PM. The protest will begin shortly thereafter. Joe Kaufman will be speaking at the event.
The location of the protest will be at the northwest corner of Madison Avenue and 26th street.
All are invited to attend, and refreshments will be supplied at the protest site.

AMERICANS AGAINST HATE CALLS ON ELLISON TO RESIGN
(Coral Springs, FL) According to the website of the Muslim Foundation of America (MFA), Keith Ellison has been named as this year’s Grand Marshall of the Muslim Day Parade being held in New York City, on September 9, 2007. This follows last year’s Grand Marshall choice of Siraj Wahhaj, a man who was named by the U.S. government as a suspected co-conspirator to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.
The Muslim Day Parade is a conglomeration of radical Muslim groups with ties to Hamas, Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, including the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim American Society (MAS), and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA).
For Ellison, this is just one more appearance in a long string of appearances at radical Muslim events. This includes a speaking engagement in May, at the 4th Annual Convention of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota. While Ellison spoke, the group’s website contained statements calling for the murders of Jews and the waging of war against non-Muslims. The statements are still there, and Ellison has yet to denounce them. A counter on the homepage of the Americans Against Hate (AAH) website is keeping track of the number of days that Ellison refuses to do so. The counter is currently at Day 79.
Joe Kaufman, AAH Chairman and founder of CAIR Watch, stated, “It is beyond reproach that Keith Ellison, a United States Congressman, continues to make appearances and give speeches at events sponsored by Muslim radicals. The fact that he is speaking at this event is more evidence that he is unfit to serve our country.”
AAH calls on Congressman Ellison to resign from office immediately.

CAIR REP CALLS SEN. LIEBERMAN AND VICE PRES. CHENEY “RIGHT WING NUT CASES”

(Coral Springs, FL) Less than one week ago, on a web blog that he writes for, the Civil Rights Coordinator of CAIR-Los Angeles (CAIR-California), Affad Shaikh, referred to various political, intelligence and media figures as “Extremist Right Wing Nut cases.” They included Senator Joe Lieberman, Vice President Dick Cheney, former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton, former head of the CIA James Woolsey, Peter Brookes of the Heritage Foundation, Lt. General Thomas McInerney, and Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, Neil Cavuto, Sean Hannity and Sheppard Smith.
In July, Shaikh called President Bush and Condoleezza Rice “liars” and Vice President Cheney a “fat retard of a liar.” As well, he has likened Jews to Nazis and has stated that Congresswoman Jane Harmon is a “pocket protector” of the American lobby group for Israel, AIPAC.”
Joe Kaufman, Chairman of Americans Against Hate (AAH) and Founder of CAIR Watch, stated, “The atrocious behavior of CAIR’s Affad Shaikh should send a message to the media that CAIR is not a group to be dealt with on a cordial basis. Irregardless of the group’s well-known ties to terrorism, CAIR’s rhetoric should be viewed as unacceptable by any journalistic standards.”
Americans Against Hate calls on the media to refrain from quoting representatives from CAIR and to stop portraying CAIR as a legitimate source of information.

CONG. KEITH ELLISON JOINS CONGRESSIONAL TASK FORCE ON ANTI-SEMITISM
THIS FOLLOWS ELLISON’S SPEECH IN FRONT OF GROUP CALLING FOR MURDER OF JEWS
(Coral Springs, FL) Congressman Keith Ellison is touting on his website that he has been named to the bi-partisan Congressional Task Force on Anti-Semitism (CTFAS). This, after Ellison gave a speech in front of the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS-Minnesota), a group that propagates material on its website calling for the murder of Jews.
The Congressional Task Force on Anti-Semitism was founded through the Congressional Human Rights Caucus by Holocaust survivor, Congressman Tom Lantos. The group was launched in the beginning of August. According to the Human Rights Caucus, “The Task Force’s primary role is to bring to light specific cases of anti-Semitism and educate Members of Congress, world leaders and citizens about the horrors that these cases pose on society.”
Last month, CTFAS invited U.S. Congressman from Minnesota, Keith Ellison, to join its group — only three months after Ellison gave the Keynote address to the Minnesota chapter of the Muslim American Society, a group propagating the worst of anti-Semitism on its website, including calls for the murder of Jews. Some of the statements found on MAS-Minnesota’s site include:
“The Holy Prophet (and through him the Muslims) has been reassured that he should not mind the enmity, the evil designs and the machinations of the Jews...”
“In view of the degenerate moral condition of the Jews and the Christians, the Believers have been warned not to make them their friends and confidants.”
“If you gain victory over the men of Jews, kill them.”
“May Allah destroy the Jews, because they used the graves of their prophets as places of worship.”
A counter found on the homepage of the American Against Hate (AAH) website is keeping track of the number of days that Ellison has refused to condemn the Muslim American Society for spreading such hatred. It is currently at 89 days. AAH demands that CTFAS remove Congressman Ellison from its group for refusing to condemn MAS.
AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman stated, “It is highly offensive for a Congressional task force on anti-Semitism to allow a man that willingly speaks in front of anti-Semitic groups to be associated with its organization. CTFAS needs to end its relationship with Ellison immediately.”

AAH TO HIGHLIGHT ACCUSED DEATH SQUAD LEADER DURING PROTEST AGAINST MUSLIM DAY PARADE
KHAN SAID TO BE PART OF 1971 BANGLADESHI GENOCIDE
(New York, NY) Americans Against Hate’s protest against the Muslim Day Parade and Congressman Keith Ellison will begin Sunday at 12:30 pm, in Manhattan, at the northwest corner of 26th street and Madison Avenue.
The protest will touch on various past Marshals of the parade. They include Siraj Wahhaj, a radical imam whose name appears on the U.S. Attorney’s list of unindicted co-conspirators of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, and Muzammil Siddiqi, the past President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) who threatened America, in October of 2000, saying, if the U.S. “remains on the side of injustice, the wrath of G-d will come.”
As well, one of the parade’s former Marshals was Ashrafuzzaman Khan. Khan was a past President of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA). Khan is also an accused death squad leader of the 1971 Bangladeshi genocide that left up to three million people dead.
AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman states, “There are many Jews, myself included, that are concerned that Nazis from World War II are roaming the earth without having been brought to justice. It is the same for Bangladeshis, whose family and friends were systematically slaughtered in 1971. Many of those who perished were professors and intellectuals. Many were children. If we want to accomplish one thing at this protest it is to bring to light this travesty that occurred over three decades ago.”
