August 28, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - Hillary Clinton lavished praise on New York City's tough anti-smoking laws yesterday - and said she supports smoking bans in public places across the country.
Asked at an Iowa forum on cancer whether banning smoking in public places would be good for America, Clinton replied, "Well, personally, I think so. And that's what a lot of local communities and states are starting to do."

No mention of a tax to replace the tax revenue lost.

Like Bill, her strategy is going to be to advocate for a thousand little feel-good laws and that have nothing to do with the President’s job description.

I despise smoking. Smoking in a restaurant, to me, is about as attractive as peeing in a common swimming pool.
That said, I'd be inclined to give it some slack just to defy the witch.

I don’t smoke but I do believe there should be option for smokers other than an outright ban. I was in a place last week, in Chicago, and on my left was a smoker while on my right was someone yapping at a loud volume in her cell phone — the entire time — even while eating. The smoker was less intrusive.

Ah, yes, Article VIII of the United States Constitution, which provides: “The Congress may pass all laws that address the passions of the moment without limit or restraint.”

IMHO only God can change a human being. Unless Hitlery is taking over that job.

And that's what a lot of local communities and states are starting to do." Just another issue Hitlery wants to make a Federal issue. More power for the Feds, less power for the States. That's not what a "REPUBLIC" is folks. We have States and State governments to keep the Fed's in check. But not hillary, she wants to Queen, King, and most of all, Dictator. She would be the final nail in the coffin of the USA.

"I want to change what it means to be a human being in the 21st century." -- Hillary Clinton Oh yes, she wants to change us into cashless, "how much did you make - send it in - tax base , weapon free, society. I believe, in a word, she wants ultimate control over our breathing - or not, if it suits her "fancy".
Actually, "fancy" and Hitlery just don't go together.
