I like Fred Thompson, he’s got a solid conservative record.
He’d make a good GOP nominee.
Go Fred go.

I would love for Fred to stand up in his inaugural address and declare an end to mollycoddling. Impose military censorship on the media and begin immediate sedition/treason investigations against the MSM and RAT politicians.

I’d just be happy to hear him use the word “mollycoddling”. It would be fun to watch all the kiddies try figure out what that means.

My 11 year old daughter was begging to watch the speech again today, since she missed what came after the lightning problems.
You would think that if an 11 year old can listen and retain the material....

I was crazed last night, because my cable was acting up, so I couldn’t see the rebroadcast and then the cspan stream was choppy, so I missed parts of the speech. So, I watched it again this morning. It was an amazing speech. One of Fred’s top 5.
Congrats on having an 11 year old that is more aware and adult than many Freepers. :)

"Congrats on having an 11 year old that is more aware and adult than many Freepers. :)" That might be taking it a bit too far, more likely many adults.
I'd like to think Freepers are more aware (and adult) than the general populace.

Unfortunately, there’s no shortage of unaware childish Freepers.
I probably could have said ‘some’ instead of ‘many’ though.

I think he used emoluments last week.emolument \ih-MOL-yuh-muhnt\, noun: The wages or perquisites arising from office, employment, or labor; gain; compensation.
...could not be stretched enough to bar the debilitating spectacle of former presidents greedily groveling for money by mouthing high-priced platitudes before fawning audiences here and abroad and extorting huge advances from equally greedy (and, fortunately, frequently gullible) publishers by "writing" (I use the term loosely) memoirs that both history and History could usually do without. THANKS.
