Democratic operative James "Serpenthead" Carville (not to be confused with fake Republican Michael "Serpenthead" Chertoff) has announced a contest for the best bumper sticker slogan for Democrats in the '08 Election. Bakersfield Radio Host Jaz McKay (on whose show I appear every Thursday at 4:05 Eastern/1:05 Pacific) talked about this on his show, yesterday.

Since I desperately wanted to enter this all-important competition, I asked David Lunde to create this bumper sticker (thanks to the Elton John song for inspiration), and I humbly say, I think it's the BEST! Your car and bodice can soon sport this design. Look for David and I to sell it very soon (stay tuned for details):

John Edwards has made such a big deal of the War on Terror being a bumper sticker slogan.

He charges that Bush uses the war on terror to justify anything, and that it’s just a bumper sticker slogan.

So the party that criticizes bumper sticker sloganeering is actively looking for a bumper sticker quote? I thought they said issues have nuances, that John Kerry had nuanced positions on complicated issues.

And after all that, the Democrats need a bumper sticker?

I suspect the drafters of the 22nd Amendment would have a serious problem with her candidacy. I do not think it should be allowed. You are right. For all practical purposes, this would be a third term for the Clintons.

Here in NY we put the RUN, HILLARY, RUN on our FRONT Bumpers. Being outnumbered by LIBS at least 100 to 1, it was still fun. Driving down the street and having everyone turn and show me that “I’m NUMBER ONE”. Only had to repaint my Front bumper and hood Twice.
