"Said Badi Aref counsel (Tariq Aziz) Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq in the era of former President Saddam Hussein late, that the American President George Bush had intervened to release Aziz, Aref said that he is ready to ensure that the former Iraqi official, prominent information in its possession, which he described as a lawyer ( serious ستربك many nations and leaders, including Americans and Europeans) .. وكشف بديع عارف أن عضو مجلس قيادة الثورة السابق (طه ياسين رمضان) رفض إبرام صفقة مع الأميركيين والحكومة العراقية الموالية لواشنطن تقضى بتخفيف حكم الإعدام الذي صدر بحقه مقابل الكشف عن بعض أسرار النظام السابق ، لكن رمضان رفض تماماً إبرام أي صفقات وأصر على المواجهة مهما كانت النتائج ، ليعدم في النهاية .. Badi Aref revealed that a member of the Revolutionary Command Council, (Taha Yassin Ramadan) refused to make a deal with the Americans and the Iraqi government loyal to Washington under death sentence issued against him in return for disclosing some secrets of the former regime, but Ramadan absolutely refused to enter into any transactions and insisted that whatever the confrontation the results, to be executed in the end .. هل المعلومات خطيرة إلى هذه الدرجة التي يسقط فيها حكم الإعدام عن طارق عزيز ؟ Is the information seriously to this degree, which fall on the death penalty Tariq Aziz? ام ان هناك حسابات اخرى دينية بحكم ان عزيز مسيحي هو الذي جعل بوش يتدخل شخصياً في اسقاط حكم الإعدام عن طارق عزيز ؟ Or are there other accounts religious Aziz, a Christian virtue that is why Bush personally intervened to topple the death sentence for Tariq Aziz? او ان هناك حسابات اخرى لا نعرفها ستظهر لاحقاً .. Or that there are other accounts, we do not know will be announced later .. والسلام خير ختام .. Peace and good conclusion ..

POW’S like Speicher and Maupin;
Did Saddam send WMD’s to the Baath Party in Syria before the war;
I’d say it’s a good trade since this prick didn’t have the same authority that Saddam and his sons had.
We need info. IMO

Bush might intervene for the release of Tariq Aziz, in exchange for silence .. Yea, that sounds a little different than what the headline implies. Maybe the WMD is hidden in Kennebunkport.

It is saying that "Badi'aa Aref" who is the laywer of Tarik Aziz that President Bush may interfere to release Tarik Azziz who has very dangerous information which will involve a lot of nations and leaders in Europe and the USA.
Also Tarik Aziz lawyer went on to say the "Taha Yassin Ramadan" ex-member of the Revolutionary Concil refused a bargain to reduce the sentence against him in exchange of providing some secrets of the ex-regime.

Exactly the kinds of issues that would be part of such a deal. Locations of the WMDs in Syria, plus testimony that he helped put them there.

Statements like that prove to me that people acting as attorneys for those criminals are not professional attorneys. They are obsessed with conspiracy theories and still think that these trials are controlled by president Bush.
Same thing happened with previous trials. Defense attorneys spent much of their time making political speeches which hardly helped their clients. I heard that in the latest Anfal trial, which ended a while ago, the defense attorneys have not yet submitted a plea on behalf of their clients who are facing execution. The appeal court is waiting for them and they couldn’t be bothered to make their pleas.
