ESPN is reporting, according to an unnamed source, that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick will not admit to killing dogs or gambling on dog fights when he enters a guilty plea in a Richmond, Va., federal court Monday. The count of conspiracy Vick will plead to admits guilt on the charge of interstate commerce for the purpose of dogfighting.

Vick reportedly will say that he was present when dogs were killed but will maintain he did not personally kill any of the dogs.

Seems Vick is trying to dance around his guilt.
Don’t allow this punk gangster off easy. Make him accept the consequences for his actions or try his sorry butt and then throw him is jail for a lot more then 12 to 18 months.

He should get the time per dog that was killed or hurt; and not just by him personally.

The NFL just needs to ban him for life.

I did read one individual who speculated that the reason that the Fed's may allow only the single charge is because the State may handle the cruelty and gambling charges.

The Judge can still give Vick up to 5 years for the crime and considering how Vick is trying to play games, he may get it!

Though I am not happy that he might not allocute to the more heinous acts, he will still be admitting to the conspiracy of both gambling and dog fighting, will be convicted and will be sentenced to 18-24 months in prison.

What the private business of the NFL does to them is for them to decide.

The prosecutors should be fired!!!!

President Bush should intervene.

Now I meant that...but the after thought came that it would not hurt him politically if he did step in or ask his AG to step in.

Vick is fortunate he has the milllions to get himself a sweet deal. If he gets less time than his co-defendants, I don’t see that as justice.

Great, it is good to see Bad Newz Kennels wasn't his only bad decision he made with his money.

Pleal ? Must .... have .... coffee ...

No, you're right:
Main Entry: pleal = verb
Etymology: Middle English ple, plede, from Anglo-French plai, pleit from Medieval Latin placitum, from Latin, decision, decree, from neuter of placitus, past participle of placēre to please, be decided — more at please

1: a legal suit or action, to appeal your plea

e.g. "Your honor, I'm plealing my plea"

And was this the same judge that accepted the other pleas? The other guys said Vick killed some of the dogs. And if Vick is going to say he didn’t kill them, but he was there someone is lying. So the judge either needs to not accept what Vick is saying or call in the other thugs for questioning.

It's a new word. You will be seeing more of it. I think it's a contraction of Plea and Deal. Plea deal -> pleal. Cool.

I think the rumor is BS. Probably started by his lawyers. The Feds have a tight case and they have kept their mouth sealed. So this isn’t coming from them. Just wishful thinking by the thug. Vick can go to He((.

He is a vicious sadist and deserves to be shunned.

And what kind of a moron puts his trust in the likes of the 2 goons who participated in this with him? To use a line in a great old movie, “Not the most dependable of God’s creatures.”
