it has been my understanding that the word “immigrant” means a foreign national legally entered into the country. So there is no such thing as an “illegal immigrant.”
Can anyone affirm that this is so?

(Visit this thread 1-hour from now. In that time, an average of 416.6 more ILLEGALS will be in the US)

The process of immigration takes two willing parties, the immigrant on the one hand and the agency of the accepting country on the other.
However, border violation, i.e. illegal entry into a country is a one-sided deal, so I think you are correct, it cannot be deemed "immigration". But that doesnt stop THEM!

Someone needs to tell Bill OReilly he just got through saying there way no way we were going to deport 12 million illegals.Bill O'Reilly and Michael Medved both sing the same defeatist tune- "Just give up, you can't deport 12 million illegals."
We sure won't if we take the advice of these two losers. Makes you think of the Wormtongue character from Lord of the Rings.

It was truly the defining moment, when they hauled out those Mexican flags it was like the sleeping giant woke up and realized these were not people wanting to be Americans, it was people wanting to take over America. No matter what they do most Americans now know what the truth is. They gotta go!!

They might slowly deport themselves if they can't work, and if the owners of these companies are questioned about their workers.
When we hire any company, whether it be for plumbing, construction, gardening, etc., we ask the owner about the legal status of the workers, and we ask to personally see that all workers are insured under workers' comp insurance. We make it clear that we will have no illegal alien workers at our house doing anything.
Some of them never call back, and they know they've lost a job.

I car lot on a main drag in my town put up brand new American and Mexican flags. It pissed me off to see it and I intended to call. It must have made others mad because the Mexican flags where there only a couple of weeks. Yes you are right that people won’t forget marching with Mexican flags. The racist clubs in the article may find idiot judges, but they are making enemies in large numbers.

Turning to liberal judges in the courts is their ONLY LAST HOPE.
They quite frankly know that if they actually can muster the courage and honesty to meet us, head to head, the American People, out in the open, they will be beaten like rats.

But Guttierez says over all the local initiatives are growing, and for MALDEF it simply is impossible to fight then everywhere throughout the country. It would be complicated and expensive. After the failure of the US federal government to pass immigration legislation of a comprehensive nature to help the immigrants, the fight then passed to the States and the localities of the USA. But at the same time there are pronounced differences on just what is the best strategy to fight such initiatives in legal battles. I LOVE THAT STATEMENT!!!!!!!!! ITS WHAT MARXISTS HATE ABOUT THE UNITED STATES - THE FACT THAT IMPORTANT DECISIONS ARE LEFT UP TO THE STATES AND THE STATES, WHEN ASKED TO RISE TO THE OCCASSION DO SO WITH CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTEOUSNESS.

The communists hate local autonomy just about as much as WE hate judicial tyranny. Each of us has to turn to our tools. These are them. Ours are by far the more honest, equitable, and representative of the PEOPLE.

that business pays taxes, and that if they are adversely effected, the County will be adversely effected, tooThey ought to pay all requisite taxes, including social security taxes and income taxes of their illegals. Everyone knows this iilegal cheap labor is a big plus to business as long as someone else picks up some of the tab and they dont end up being fined or jailed.
To: AmericanInTokyo
I like how you see it. Americans getting shafted by judges will add to the resentment. Like another poster said, “ they woke the sleeping giant.”
I know a Japanese general said that, in a movie anyway, but it is appropriate with your screen name.

They are and have been leaving for a year. We are scaring them off. That is cheaper and less time consuming than deporting them all.
