It should be apparent by now that having an R after your name doesn’t mean Really Smart.

OK, who let him wander away from the Old Age Home again?

Maybe Warner needs to go back to Elizabeth Taylor-—That would indicate better judgement

I have a question. How can Warner decide in advance that Bush should say the senior military commanders advised this step? It just gets wierder and wierder out there.

Warner’s daddy should have withdrawn.

That goes for both Warners, Mark (D) and John (R).

George Allen should run for his seat in 2008.

Yes!!!!!!

Unfortunately, we'll probably end up with the other Warner.

THis just pisses me off, we are finally seeing a turnaround with the “surge” the dems are backpeddling; hell even Hillary said the surge was working; and the crypt keeper needs to pop up and say “time to pack it in”. Why doesn’t Warner just give the Iraqi government a first class trip to Iran while he is at it.

The Senator should let Bush be the Commander in Chief while he holds the purse strings.

John Warner, one of many AARP members in the senate, in fact the Senate gets special rates for membership in the AARP., in fact a division of that organization.

It seems like every two months or so, the RINO cock-a-roach of the month, be it Lugar, Hagel, or Warner basically repeats the same thing they have been saying for the last 3 years.

And it’s treated like it’s some new, brilliant conversion, and they are lavished by the press with as “influential” and “distingushed”, even though in my opinion, there is no more dispicable creature in politics than “longtime U.S. Senator”

How 'bout this, Warner? We just capture some of those terrorists those 5K troops would've whacked and set them loose in your home state--because unless those men are allowed to finish their job, that is what will happen anyway.

Whaddya think, Johnnyboy?

Warner is going into his thirtieth year in the Senate. As you can see by the above photo, the corruptive Potomac Fever finally caught up with him and he's already been embalmed.

He just keeps breathing so that the home folks think he's really moving in and out on his job.

No, Tom Davis is his boy. He is holding off announcing to freeze others out. Jim Gilmore is talking about running.

The 80 year old (and more and more senile) Senator (oops, I mean General) warner. What a waste. This man has become beyond idiotic and is one of the reasons I no longer give any money to the RNC or the RSSC. I don’t want my hard earned money going to senile old men who think they have the military insight after two days of a visit to Iraq.

Warner would be better off if he just shut up and sat down.

Virginia Sen. John Warner said Bush should "announce on the 15th that in consultation with our senior military commanders he has decided to initiate the the first step in a withdrawal of our forces."

If Senator Warner has consulted with senior military commanders enough to know what they are going to say in their high level talks with the Commander-in-Chief, then one might reach the conclusion that Warner is way overstepping his authority as a member of Congress. If, on the other hand, he is trying to overstate the weight of his opinion as if it were the consensus of senior military commanders without having participated in those discussions, then he has exposed himself as an overblown pompous windbag.

I just sent an email to his office; told him if he wants a withdrawal of fources then he should stop funding. Any other action regarding troop positions is outside his lane of responsibility. I also told him it is clearly time for him to retire.

Warner is a prime example that you CAN be too old to hold office. Thanks for giving Al Qaeda more encouragement, John.
