I find it very strange and bizarre that any person currently a Christian, especially an American Christian, can convert, I mean revert, to Islam.

Exactly right. Ellis is a Muslim who also lists his name as Hakim Mansour Ellis. Apparently, with his conversion to Islam and his praise for Chavez, he isn’t wrapped too awfully tight. No surprise.
