LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - It's a girl again for the Duggars. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar welcomed their 17th child, and seventh daughter, into the world Thursday.
Jennifer Danielle was born at 10:01 a.m. at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark., the Duggars said in an interview. Jennifer weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and arrived five days after Michelle's due date.
Less than 30 minutes after giving birth, the Duggars already were talking of having more.

What would the baby play? First Base?.......
Jim Bob lol
This family is TERRIFIC! Watching them on TV is AWESOME!! They are soooo organized!! AND HAPPY!
I agree - the last baby they had (the one on the tv show) was always smiling. I felt good after watching them build their house - very inspiring.
Still a baby, so probably SHORTstop.
I used to spell my name Siouxsan.
Ugh. Yahoo had this article posted “2 minutes ago” on their site and nothing came up with the title or keyword (the last name of the family) I selected. :-(
Time to make pretzels? Yes!
I wish I was tough enough to have 17 kids and live to tell about it! LOL!
There was another show that had 2 6 year olds and 6 two year olds!! That family was terrific too!
Jim Bob used to be a Republican state legislator in Arkansas. I think he’s building a voting bloc.
I only had 2 before the Lord pulled the plug. (hysterectomy) He probably knew best.. because I'd have had 10 more. *chuckle*
My Dad was the last born of 15, although 2 died in infancy which was a lot more common then. He’ll be 86 this year and when he was born his father was 52. All the children had the same parents - no second wife, etc. So, my grandfather would be 138 or so today. Noticing your screen name, by the way, they were all raised in Medford, MA.
“I think hes building a voting bloc.”
I’m sure they are well educated and prosperous conservatives.
My Dad was the last of 15 as well. I, for one, am delighted that my Grandparents had 15 children. The kids worked the farm out in Topeka, Kansas.
A family around the corner from us had 17 children. They were a great family. By the time the youngest were born the older ones were old enough to help out with driving, etc. The parents were not reclusive either. They were involved with church and community.
A guy from Arkansas passed away and left his entire estate to his beloved widow, but she can’t touch it ‘til she’s 14
I’d like to know which brand of vitamins Michelle Duggar is taking...

But you’re from frickin KANSAS for christ sake. why the hell are you talkin smack?
I have two cousins who are from Medford but our names end in vowels. :-)
Maybe mine does, too. What’s that rule about vowels where “sometimes y” is a vowel? My Dad never went back to live in Mass after WWII so I didn’t grow up with any of my 10,000 cousins there. With Dad being the last of that brood and having his own brood of 7 and now 40 some grandchildren and great grandchildren, we have enough relatives of varying degrees of sanity without even bringing all those other cousins into the equation!
