The highly trafficked "progressive" website DailyKos, which boasts contributors including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, is suggesting football star Pat Tillman was murdered in Afghanistan on orders from the White House.
The theory behind the conspiracy? "It was well-known he (Tillman) was against the war in Iraq," explains the DailyKos diarist Dburn.
The blog references an appearance by General Wesley Clark on MSNBC's "Keith Olbermann's Countdown" discussing the latest developments in the story of the athlete killed in Afghanistan, presumably by friendly fire from within his Army Ranger unit.
"Wesley Clark was on and believes the orders came from the very top as Tillman was a political symbol," explains the blog. "No indication if orders were to murder him, but at least to cover it up. I'm not speculating at this point. But I saw in another diary where they claimed executive privilege in the Tillman case. It's starting to look beyond bad."
Clark, however, never even remotely suggested the possibility of any high-level conspiracy to kill Tillman. In fact, he was questioning where, in the chain of command, was the decision made to cover up the truth about what happened to Tillman.
Here is the Daily Kos link. This is, indeed, "beyond bad" - the tragic death of an American hero turned into conspiracy-theory mongering. Our new question: is there any bad accusation against President Bush the left won't believe? Might be fun to find out - start up a website and just make the wildest, most insane accusations and see how quickly the left picks up on them...I mean, we're already far down the road where a very large minority of the left believes that President Bush either knew 9/11 was going to happen, or actually ordered it done.
I'd love to give it a try, but I'm just not the liar kind of guy...
They're already there.
What retards!.......just when you think they cannot go any lower, the floor gives way to reveal a whole new set of steps.........
Certifiable lunatics, the whole lot of them...
Just when I thought the lefties had already said the craziest, dumbest things they could, they just kept on talking.
Heck, there’s even some leftists who are still obsessed about the 2000 elections.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Having his pic on the cover of a gay mag didn't help either.
How sad is it that a darn Presidential candidate -- on the "R" side -- is a truther nutjob? Helloooo, Ron Paul.
Yeah, I was gonna say, “going insane?”
They’ve BEEN there!
They’ve been unhinged ever since they failed, by such a close margin, to engage in enough fraud to win in 2000, and they are just getting worse.
What bugs me the most, is that they are going to lose another war for us and this time the enemy will follow us home.

The left has loooong gone spin CRAZY.
(1) Make ambiguous comments that suggest a nefarious conspiracy.
(2) When forced to make specific comments, "clarify" by saying that while many believe that there is a nefarious conspiracy, you believe there is a less horrible but still damning explanation.
Classic example: Ron Paul goes on a Truther radio show, and says he will push for a key plank in the Truther platform: a new 9/11 Commission to reopen the investigation.
When confronted by sane people later, he claims that he doesn't necessarily buy into the Truther claim that "9/11 Was An Inside Job!" but that he does believe that a new investigation might reveal that the administration was negligent and perhaps to blame for 9/11.
In any war, propaganda is a strategic weapon. I can not blame the Army for putting the best spin on the tragic death of Pat Tillman. What passes today for a U.S. news media will expend any resource to investigate and denigrate our military. On the other hand they will report false enemy stories as fact, employ proven terrorist sympathizers as correspondents, and broadcast any radical Islamist video no matter what its source. The Associated Press is al Qaeda’s greatest weapon.
Exactly. But the funny thing is htey want us to make the same mistakes they made
That first one is brilliant.
Unreal.
