Former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) has sued The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and its parent company, Cox Enterprises, claiming the newspaper libeled her in editorials and news articles.
The lawsuit also charged that bomb threats were telephoned to her office from the newspaper's office in Cobb County last year.

... "Instead of admitting the fact that the officer used force against the congresswoman, Tucker states only that the officers 'stopped her,' in an effort to falsely portray Cynthia McKinney as the wrongdoer,"...They most surely will!
This is almost as good as 'depends on your definition of what 'is' is.

I swear, the people of this country keep getting dumber and dumber.
Both the electorate and their Representatives.
Thank you NEA and the American Education System.
claiming the newspaper libeled her in editorials and news articles.
Duh, editorials are named just that so that there is no doubt that they are opinions, as in OP/ED.
Opinions are protected speech under that quaint oddity of American jurisprudence, The Constitution.
But I suspect that even she knows that and therefore my tagline applies.

The pictures may have been misleading, but the guilty vs not guilty was based on Cynthia M's charge
Tucker states only that the officers 'stopped her,' in an effort to falsely portray Cynthia McKinney as the wrongdoer,

I grew up in a family where my grand daddy referred to the Journal and Constitution as “them lyin’ Atlanta newspapers.”
But on those occasions when liberal papers correctly call out a liberal politician for being crooked and bad for the country , I see that as a positive thing.

Tucker is a left winger. McKinney is a person capable of mass murder. She’s that deranged. I would root for Tucker.

I dunno, Tucker comes perilously close to the “I’d hit it” category in that photo. Nice lips. ;-)
