Sean said Fred Thompson will be on at the top of the 2nd hour, and Duncan Hunter will be on the 3rd hour. They are at the San Diego Freedom Concert.

Courage has nothing to do with it. Hunter is a great conservative but hasn’t a chance against the money and recognition of the current pack of declareds.
Fred has not declared yet and until he does (and he will) he is not obligated to go back and forth with any of the declared players much less a minor one. He can make his points and further emphasize his positions in preparation for a formal declaration.
It’s way too early to get caught up in the media made mania. It’s too easy to burn out early as McCain is finding out. Besides, it’s Hannity who sets up the chain of events for his show.
Whoever said Fred was an exciting speaker needs to get a clue...this guy is as dull as watching paint dry.

The only ones lacking courage are the naysayers who buckle to whom the MSM push on the electorate, rather than support the one man running who has the integrity, dedication and good sense the country needs so desperately, and who can also beat any Democrat running -Duncan Hunter!
It takes a lot of money, and it is up to the grassroots, (you, me, and that fellow behind the tree) to cough up what it will take to get Rep. Hunter into the top tier.

The way Fred hangs out with Sean, I think Sean would be Fred’s VP choice!
Sean is another talking head. His choice, as if it matters, seems to be Rudy. Fred appears in a lot of venues which is what I would expect from the strategy he is pursuing. In the interview he made it clear that he has a strategy to build support, name recognition and a staff without incurring the legalities of campaign laws before he is ready. I believe that Fred has a pretty good plan so far as is shown in a lot of the polls.
Whadya wanna bet that Hannity gave far more uninterrupted time to Thompson than he’ll give to Hunter this afternoon? Also, Sean announced that Thompson will be a guest on Hannity & Colmes tonight. Royal treatment to a co-entertainer.

Hunter’s time on the radio show’s over, but he’ll be back on again tonight on the Hannity and Colmes TV show.
He talked about the border situation (when talking about Chertoff’s comments about how tough it is to build a fence, he joked “I’m glad he’s not in charge of NASA”), the Ramos and Compean case, as well as his run for President despite low poll numbers. I like how steadfast he is on his presidential run; he said that it is tough, and he can’t be all “it’s too tough, woe is me”, he has to keep hitting his issues home and connecting his ideas with the voters. As a matter of fact, when Iowa voters were asked by some group to identify their most important issues, the top three were: Enforceable borders, national security, and American jobs that have been taken either by illegals or offshoring. These are Hunter’s big three issues.
Needless to say, he’s in it for the long haul.
Hunter & Ollie would make an EXCELLENT team...I would sleep better at night knowing those two would be in charge!
Well, I’ve already donated $1300+, so I’ll just stick to the $50 this time around. How about it, Airborne? :)
It was mostly a 50/50 cover; he didn’t outright accuse the President of anything along the lines of the Democrats, nor did he totally give him a pass. Bush “deflected” the situation regarding Ramos and Compean, and that’s all.

I’d put Tancredo at Homeland Security, Mitt at State, Rudy as AG and just for giggles, Dr. Ron Paul, Ambassador to the United Nations.

Doesn’t Duncan Hunter have a GREAT personality, though. Friendly, and down to earth, as well as RIGHT on the issues.
Hunter said there was some kind of poll (didn’t quite catch all of it) that was taken, and he was the No. 1 favorite on the issues!

Say you’re standing in an alley in the pouring rain, miles from home. Home has a hottub, your favorite foods, and your own warm bed. You WANT to be home (Hunter) but home is not an option, period.
You have two people inviting you inside. One has a house that has no heat, leaks, nowhere to sleep but a concrete floor, and cold beans for dinner (Hillary.)
The other has heat, and is dry, but, it’s not nearly as nice as home, has some rough edges, and the food is mediocre (This is Thompson.) Still, it’s MUCH better than the alternative.
