In college I had a Green Beret roommate, his job in special forces was destabilizing foreign governments.
When he left the military, he came back to the first non-elected President in the history of this country.
He said that what happened was an exact step-by-step implementation of what he had been trained to do unto other countries.
(He also said that there was some Colonel in the Kremlin who was a General now because of this, I looked him in the eye and asked how he knew it wasn't a former Colonel in the Pentagon, he visible froze and didn't talk to me for a week)...
