Killborn, you make excellent points. But I would remind you that it is impossible to find an illegal alien who is not criminal, because they broke the law by coming her the way that they came here. They are already criminals. Thus, in my mind, to show these people anything other than the way out is giving them a free pass for their behavior. So what if they pay a fine. so what if they pay back taxes. They still get to STAY here, and so they still get far more than they deserve.

“Killborn, you make excellent points.”

Thank you.

“But I would remind you that it is impossible to find an illegal alien who is not criminal, because they broke the law by coming her the way that they came here. They are already criminals.”

That is true.

“Thus, in my mind, to show these people anything other than the way out is giving them a free pass for their behavior. So what if they pay a fine. so what if they pay back taxes. They still get to STAY here, and so they still get far more than they deserve.”

Ah, I disagree for the reasons I stated before. I guess this is just an “agree to disagree” type situation.

Well, I'll tell you what. I respect you for your reasoned presentation or your side of this issue. And I do think that it's important to look at this from all sides. it's just that, having looked at it, I remain firm in my position. Not out of bloody-monded obstinance, but out of what I can only call my sense of urgency in defending the sovereignty and security of this country. I simply think that this bill is a far, far worse idea than simply enforcing the laws that we already have.

Respectfully,

Gunner

I understand. And I remian firm in mine as well. It’s good that we can disagree without hurling invectives at each other, :)

That’s what I said. What do you call offering sweet port aurthority deals to a nation of Islamic fascists who desire the destruction of Israel?

Look, I never said the president was a bad person and don’t compare me to a DUmmie. I am a conservative and the president supports alot of the Lib agenda’s. I support the President when he supports the conservative agenda. Don’t tell me I have to blindly support the President just because some member of the media doesn’t.

There was once an elderly man and his wife, living in rural America. When they were younger and courting, they used to sit close together in his pickup as he drove them along the long, dusty miles of country roads, holding hands all the way.

Now that they both had many years on them, they didn't sit so close together any more, and she noticed. As she leaned on the armrest of her door, she turned and asked her husband of fifty years, "George? Why don't we sit close like we used to? We used to sit close and hold hands when we drove. Do you remember?"

He thought for a moment, as he continued to steer the old pickup.

"Of course I remember.", he said gently. "I'm not the one who moved."
