Jihad In Schools?

Political Correctness: Seems the ACLU couldn't care less that a San Diego public school has set aside 15 minutes of classroom instruction time for Muslim students to pray, while non-Muslims twiddle their thumbs.

Right now it has no plans to legally challenge the budding madrassa as endorsement of a religion by government. Apparently the establishment clause only applies to the practice of Judeo-Christian rituals in public places.

The special accommodations for Carver Elementary's nearly 100 Somali Muslims don't stop with organized prayer. The school cafeteria has banned pork and other foods that conflict with the Islamic diet.

The school cafeteria has banned pork and other foods that conflict with the Islamic diet.

This is disgraceful. Why should non-Muslim students be subjected to Muslim dietary restrictions? If these people are so concerned about dietary restrictions, there is nothing stopping the parents from either preparing lunch for the kids at home, or instructing the kids to not buy food that isn't to their liking.

On that note, I could sure go for a nice juicy Thanksgiving day HAM right about now.

God these people are disgusting. We can’t say the Pledge of Allegiance but we can kow tow to the people that would kill us in a skinny minute. This country is going down the crapper. Where are the Christian parents in this? Why the hell are they not up in arms over this bullcrap?

What is truly amazing about this is the lack of coverage in the MSM! Is this not an important story about the separation of church/state?

The media should be all over this...but then, that might put them on the conservative side...can’t have that.

Are you surprised? The ; COURTS, SCHOOLS, Academia in General, the MEDIA; ALL of it!-and add RINOS and our OWN "President Elect"! (have I left anything else LIBBIE-CONTROLED out?)

It's My Fault-Your Fault-His , Her's and ALL of us who have sat by and have done NOTHING really-but a Revolution will be coming from the Right- and it better come quick while there still IS an "America"-as the Founding Fathers so Grandly designed & envisioned it!

It could be that many of them already voted with their feet and sent their children to private or home schools. Sometimes when things are so far-gone, that really is your only logical choice.

This is an absolute OUTRAGE!

Time to inundate the San Diego school district with letters telling them to put a halt to this outrageousness. Let the f*ckers pray to Baal on their own time and in their own homes or mosques. I'm sick to death of their false piety. They can go back to Somalia, I hear they're instituting sharia law now. Is allah really the devil?

I maintain that this kind of crap would not be happening if we were not told from the highest levels of government to go about our daily lives as if nothing were happening, not to pay any attention to terror threats. We are being told this by Holy George and Company in order to prevent any untoward inicidents involving overt acts directed at moslems in America. Why this is a priority is beyond me.

THe problem of too much power in the hands of too few far removed in D.C. is only getting worse. Our manifest destiny is doomed - we can not self govern such a large population with so few in power. They are unaccountable, not to be trusted. Institutionalized corruption is the name of the game in D.C.

All the bull shit that the ACLU and the courts have put Christian and Jewish religions through in the last 50 years to the point to say God in school is against the law and then they put up with shit like this. Time for another American revolution Ala the American uprising over illegal immigration. Maybe we ought to start a campaign of letting our elected officials know how we feel about this and CAIR and the ACLU be damned.

You got that right. I fought the public school system for years. I finally gave up (it’s hard trying to make a point with a brick wall), and started my son on an online private christian school. This way I have control over what he’s learning, fact as opposed to theory, which the public schools don’t do.

It would do no good. When our public school system worked, there was “authoritarian” leadership in the superintendent’s office, principal’s office, and by the instructor in the classroom. Those offices now are simply bureaucratic in nature and filled by weinies with one political agenda or another.

That was just to get ride of any evidence of Christianity in America.

Muslims are a bit more fanatical and must be given a wide berth.

The atheist crowd always seemed to target Christians more than those of any other faith.

In our art car parade, there is a pro-evolutionary car that is decorated with monkeys and anti-Christian slogans like “Have you met my pretend friend Jesus?”. When they rode in the city parade, they had a rollerskating Jesus with a crown of thorns waving at the crowd.

The city isn’t so accepting of the “other side” (of Christianity, not evolution/creationism). Mock the Christians but fear the Islamists.

There is only one way to peacefully co-exist with muslims and that is when the kufir recognize they/we are second class citizens and must defer to our muslim betters. This is Islamic law.

ACLU

The ACLU, and libs in general, have a particular animosity to Christianity, not religion in general. Buddhism is cool, Native American religion is cool, and Islam - insofar as it is anti-Western - is also cool. Libs have no experience of actually living in Muslim societies, so are free to be stupid and arrogant in kow-towing to Islam.

It is difficult to overestimate how deeply ingrained in libs is the idea that ALL EVIL COMES FROM THE WEST. Anything that opposes the West, or is different from the West, must be good.

This story is such an insult on so many levels the outrage cannot be fully described.

The parents should withhold their taxes in protest. There ought to be picket lines outside this school every day. Parents should be hounding their local drive-by media into covering this story.

This story gives a perfectly glaring reason why more parents are considering private school or home schooling for their children.

This Muslim influx into the culture might be one thing if it were on a par with the other cultures, but to have it thrust down the throat of the kids, at the expense of the other cultures is the worst kind of politically correct horse crap.

And we can count on the 9th to never see it that way.

It’s going to get really really ugly in the public schools.

"It’s going to get really really ugly in the public schools."

And I thought it's already ugly.

With La Raza on one side, Muslims on the other, I can't fathom why any sane parent would put their precious children into a public school.

Even if it means suffering a decline in living standards to home school, their children, and the future of their families, will be better off. imo.

The 9th? My understanding is that over 80% of their findings get reversed. Too bad we can't just fire the judges already, and replace them. Imagine a business with that kind of record, how long would that be tolerated, why should we tolerate it with the 9th?

I live in San Diego where this school is - its not that far from my house - about two miles.

As far as I can see this information is not being carried in the local newspaper or local media - at least as far as I’ve seen. I would say that most San Diegans aren’t aware of it.

Roger Hedgecock has talked about it on his local talk show - but even then not that much. As far as I know the information about what was happening at that school was due to the complaint by a subsitute teacher. However, as I recall she has been silenced - one way or another.

This does not surprise me. A few years ago I saw an elementary PUBLIC school class brought into the PUBLIC library as a field trip. Almost the entire class was moslem - most of the little (six years old) girls were in head scarves and veils.

I can tell you we are overwhelmed with moslems - veiled women and little girls everywhere. There are main streets (University Avenue) on which almost everyone walking is in a veil or that long white thing the men wear.

I live in a middle class older neighborhood and we are really being overwhelmed.

Lest you think these are all innocent people - well think again. The two monsters who piloted the plane that slammed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11th lived two blocks from my house.

There were no flags on the houses in that area after Sept. 11th.

Big deal.

When I went to a publik skrewl we werent allowed meat on Friday menus because the local Catholics liked it that way. These government indoctrination camps have been dabbling in religion for a long time its just that now some are finding this dabbling offensive.

All of this is really neither here nor there. This article and "the problem" are just distractions.

The problem isnt menus, the problem is the very existence of public schools.

Ask your liberal “friends” if they remember that, at many schools, the same courtesy was NOT extended to Christians on the National Day of Prayer, when they wanted to congregate at the flag pole to pray BEFORE SCHOOL STARTED.

Ask them if they remember all the Christian kids who were sent home from school because they wore “religious” articles like crosses and t-shirts with Bible verses.
