And the WSJs analysis that most Hispanic voters will go GOP is dead wrong. Most surveys say 70-30 Democratic among illegals. And I'd say more like 90-10% democRAT. They aren't here for the work - they're here for the free medical care, free schooling, and any other taxpayer-funded bennies that they can gain. Work is merely for spending money and for something to send back home.
The WSJ cleverly forgets the real cost of illegals while whining on and on about the price of lettuce and getting ones' lawn mowed.

The immigration debate also exacerbates the split between Republican social and economic conservatives. The former won the legislative debate.Any economic "conservative" that doesn't factor in the huge cost of socialist benefits granted to the illegals can harldy consider themselves conservative in terms of economics. That is the issue that WSJ (and the rest of the mainstream media) continues to ignore. It is the elephant in the room.

My thoughts exactly!
It seems so simple....they're illegal!
They didn't get the 'get out of jail' free pass to instant citizenship!!
Therefore....they don't, can't, shouldn't have the right to vote.
We can do this...
..tighten up voter registration..
..hold our representatives feet to the fire...
...and this becomes a non-issue....a moot point!

I've beginning to think 'things' that I never in my life thought I would think.
In a word (or two)...Yes, I think he did.
I think they both did....
