“SUPPORT OUR JOURNALISTS. BRING THEM HOME NOW!”
Well said. I also think we would have a better understanding of what is going on over there. The Public Affairs Office could provide periodic reports.

In both the AG and the My Lai incidents it was members of the military who brought it to the attention of their chains of command. As far as I know, getting that information to the press was first done via press releases.
Should the press not have run with the story?

“Ya know what? Screw you.”
Words from our self-professed nice, polite, professional, honorable journalists. I do so appreciate your high toned lectures on this tread.
I followed your thread with TXnMA and he is right on the issues to include the Geneva convention and the American press' moral equivalence between America and American soldiers on the one hand, and America’s enemies on the other hand. Moral equivalence is neither reasonable nor patriotic - contrary to much of the preening press of the 20th century.

Tell me there is blood on my hands and I’ll tell you the same thing.

He thought you were a journalist. So did I.

My first thought was that FR sounds nearly universally what our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan say about the media when I have had the opportunity to speak with them personally. The days of Ernie Pyle are long gone.

Leadpenny, the animosity I and many others feel towards journalists is due to their biasness against the USA. The New York Times felt is it necessary to have AG on its front pages for 40+ days straight. Take a good look at the pictures below. Al Qaeda has killed thousands of Iraqis. Many of them slaughtered like pigs. Yet The New York Times refuses to front page any of Al Qaeda's brutalities. Look carefully at the pictures below and ask yourself why. Both you and The New York Times cannot handle the truth - your deep seated hatred for what America is fighting for in Iraq. Your eyes are shut wide open.
I dare you to compare AG to these atrocities. Why don't you know about this? Why don't you post these news reports? Why, because you cannot handle the truth.

Thanks Pinch and others in the elite media already have their story. They do not care about the truth nor people dying.
