Hokay... If your point that if HRC is elected president we shouldn't complain about anything she does because, well, we should have known that she would?

The "thrust" of my comment is this. We have always distrusted the MSM but now all of a sudden some Freepers think everything they publish is gospel.
Call me confused.

Ya, the border’s about 2,000 miles long and we have a few hundred miles of fence. Touche, Mr. President, yes sir, that is one hell of wide gate!

blah blah blah blah.
Bush has been in office six years; the new Congress, in power anew, has lost its honeymoon: people have delivered a verdict on the Pelosi/Reid "leadership", and the verdict is that they SUCK. IMO, that is the story of the poll.

Not at all. I just don’t see all the fault lying with Bush. Otherwise, feel free to complain all you want...

"Things worked out SO well the last time Republicans got their knickers in a twist like this and decided that it couldnt get any worse."
GOOD point, and one well worth making.
At least this time we won't have an incumbent running for the office.

Yes I believe as usual the MSM always gets it wrong when trying to size up the situation.
We Republicans did not abandon the president on this issue, he and his advisers told us to take our perceived bigoted, race enabling base and shove it where the sun don’t shine.
Hairy Read, RINO enablers and the Democrats are in real trouble for even letting this Shamnesty bill get to the Senate floor.
Come November 2008 there is going to be a lot of Sack Cloth and Ashes along with RINO blood flowing in the RNC offices.
The Democrats have nothing to worry about as most of their one agenda anti anything America voters will have forgotten the screwing that Hairy and the boys tried to give them with Shamnesty.
I would imagine that Lindsay grahamCracker of South Carolina is putting out resumes left and right to find a good lobbyist job with LULAC, MECHA or LaRaza.
Just the opinion of a red state wannabe.

We have always distrusted the MSM but now all of a sudden some Freepers think everything they publish is gospel. Are you suggesting that perhaps W is wildly popular with Republicans over his fantastic handling of the immigration issue?

I sense a greater degree of maturity, now. I think the Conservative Movement has grown-up.

GOOD point, and one well worth making. Huh, I couldn't really figure out what the point was. Can you please explain it to me? The best I can figure is that we ought to support W unconditionally. Is that it?

Goodness gracious...NO!
I gathered it to mean to stop all of this third party nonsense.
Third parties don't win.
And, we don't have the weight of the incumbency to carry this time, unlike having unpopular Bush 41 in office.
