I didn’t need Google to smell the scam. I only needed Google to inform me that the “company” he was working for used to be called “Amway” and was now called something else.
Thumper, you should educate yourself on “Pyramid” schemes. It’s apparent by your comments that you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Why would you have a beef if someone made money from their motivational tapes and books? If you were a successful business person, and someone offered to pay you to speak and motivate their group, would you do it for free? I don’t think you would. This is a common business practice and if you look at the actual cost to the IBO who purchases these materials its very minimal. I receive post cards, emails, and phone calls constantly from “Successful Business People” in all types of fields that are offering books CD’s tapes, functions and so forth for several hundred dollars and sometimes offer weekends that costs a couple of thousand dollars to attend. All in the name of getting the insight and knowledge to succeed in whatever field they’re promoting. It’s no different. The Quixtar/Amway business model is awesome. It all depends on YOU and what YOU do. It works for the ones that work it.
So the richest people in the Amway distributorship are the ones who are reaping the profits of the books and tapes.
Do you not see the irony there? They aren’t making a whole lot of money doing what they are trying to get you to do! Have you been promised access to some of those profits? If not, your odds are better playing the Lotto. You sign up today just to bring this old thread up? Dude you need to open your amway clouded eyes. I know a couple who spent years and countless hours trying to make it big in Amway. They missed a lot of their kids growing up years, trying to get rich quick so that they could spend more time with their kids. Its like a dog chasing his tail.
Dont be a smartass with me, by the way. I dont have time for it.

Ten years later, she's a stay-at-home mother of two, and he's a respiratory therapist. Neither is a millionaire. Neither is involved with Scamway.
And my answer is still "no".
Con-men come and con-men go. They usually change their names to avoid detection.
Give me concrete facts to prove that I am an uneducated boob and we can discuss them. Failing that, be on your way and please do not soil my ping button with your empty and hollow commentary.
BTW, who, or what, were you in a previous incarnation that you sign up and day one post a gratuitous belch in my direction? A former, now banned member, perhaps?
