Would this lunch at the Capitol be a good thing to protest? Should we get something going?

If GW’s smart, he’ll stay as far away from this escrescence of a bill as possible. Let it stand or fall on its merits — which don’t exist.

H2>This is not over yet. They won't give up this easily. They will resurect it and call it something else. We have to keep our guard up. STAGE TWO is to go after the people who hire illegals. Start giving them fines and arresting them. Just catch ten or 100 of them on the nightly news. The magnet will dry up and most of the 12 million will go home by themselves.

As an adendum, we should anonymously call the IRS, people working "off the books" means taxes ain't being paid. Make anonymous fliers and hang them around the neighborhood, name names. It's time to embarras these bustards, whether they give to the GOP or Rats, we don't need them.

Did Di Fi get her 30,000 calls she said she needed to reconsider? Inquiring minds want to know! As far as hate mail, I guess she doesn’t like being told what she is and who she is representing and it isn’t the people. A big business sell out who needs to be thoroughly investigated. How these fools can continue to say it isn’t amnesty is more evidence of her arrogance and inability to communicate and comprehend.

At least Barbara Boxer got the message.

Geez, dubya, Reid is already blaming this disaster on you - why give him even more cover?

The Republican Party got lucky yesterday and should have been able to claim victory except that the idiot in the White House can't tell a political victory from the Mexican National Anthem because he's completely tone deaf! He's going to keep it up until he ensures a complete 'Rat sweep in 2008 and the GOP is relegated to the permanent minority status that it's most comfortable with!

Way to go W!

President Bush, trying to recover from a stinging setback on immigration, will personally try in a visit to the Capitol next week to revive the embattled plan for legalizing millions of unlawful immigrants.

Why not try personally talking to real people on the street and finding out why the bill failed instead of continuing to live in his ivory tower.

Bush can’t sell this to the people, so he goes to smooze the elites in that isolated realm of D.C. What a waste.

The President can try to twist arms. I don't think its going anywhere. ENFORCEMENT FIRST!

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., told reporters he was hopeful because the Senate "is a chemical place. There's a flow to activity here. The tide comes in and goes out. And once in a while, the stars get lined up correctly, and we move ahead."

So we are “dissidents” now. These RINO’s can stick it where the sun don’t shine.

Bush hopes to revive immigration bill (will personally try in a visit to the Capitol next week)

Seems to me we need to continue our e-mails, phone calls and faxed, but this time the White House needs to be flooded with them before next week!!!
