Is this article an approval by Home Depot that paying for merchandise is now optional?

Hmmm. I wonder if you were to call and tell them you were PLANNING on shoplifting some stuff, if they’d just ship it out to you to save you a trip (gas is expensive, ya know)?

Wasn't there a post about some customer, a contractor, that an HD employee "saw" putting a pencil in his pocket, and called the cops?
Guy was marking off a board or something, and also bought his carpenter's pencils there, btw. Or use to. Can't remember how the story turned out.

Im off to Home Depot, need about $50k worth of stuff!Home depot has in store security and does not hesitate to prosecute shoplifters.
I would like to see the rest of the internal memo. I bet it directs employees to call store security.
