Hmmm. I wonder if you were to call and tell them you were PLANNING on shoplifting some stuff, if they’d just ship it out to you to save you a trip (gas is expensive, ya know)?

Wasn't there a post about some customer, a contractor, that an HD employee "saw" putting a pencil in his pocket, and called the cops?

Guy was marking off a board or something, and also bought his carpenter's pencils there, btw. Or use to. Can't remember how the story turned out.

Home depot has in store security and does not hesitate to prosecute shoplifters.

I would like to see the rest of the internal memo. I bet it directs employees to call store security.
