CALL! CALL! CALL! CALL! AND KEEP CALLING TILL THE LINES FRY!

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them.

STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

The best way to stop Shamnesty

Where IS a copy of this bill? I keep hearing people calling radio shows with bits and pieces of info.(like the man who called Mark Levin this evening) with stuff scarier than the scary parts I’ve already heard.

If the House GOP defies the President and stops this mess .. perhaps it will wake up the WH to the reality that this is a horrible idea.

Instead of the WH being touted as the admin which liberated 50 million people .. it will be touted as the admin which KILLED THE GOP. Which would you rather have as your legacy?

The Ft. Dix SIX should have settled the issue. The 3 illegals WERE NOT FROM MEXICO .. they were from other countries. This AMNESTY will allow such people to become INSTANTLY LEGAL.

Aside from that .. there is a provision in this bill to give LA RAZA $5 mil at signing and $10 mil each year thereafter. WHAT ..??????? We’re going to pay these people who want to subvert our government!! OMG - we have truly lost our love for America.

I do hope the House is ready to “blue-slip” this garbage.

House Republicans used the same back-taxes mandate for a blue-slip threat that derailed last year’s immigration conference.

It was the Bush White House that demanded that back taxes be removed from this bill, now we know why.

These ‘conservatives’ may just save their party after all.<<

Bill Clinton’s legacy is his speech where he wagged his finger at us and said “I did not have sex with that woman.”

George W. Bush’s legacy will be when he stepped in front of that US flag to stick his finger in our faces and tell us we did not want to do what’s right for America.

I don’t know what this president could do in the rest of his term that could lower my opinion of him any more.

My new position is that we should invade and annex Mexico, Central America and South America immediately.

If we’re going to have the people, we might as well have the territory.

As a Conservative and a soon to be an un-registered Republican, I voted twice for GWB and do support the fight we are in with Islamo-Nazism.

But I have now loss all respect for him and now do not think that GWB is an honorable man. I will not support him ever again and look forward to the day he is out of office!

This is a repeat of GH Bush at the end of his 1st term and the beginning of the Worst Presidency ever!

I think that most folks in this forum would agree [whether they support him or not] that - at the moment - Tom Tancredo hasn't a prayer to win the nomination of his party as a presidential candidate.

If Tancredo becomes the one to kill the immigration bill turkey in the House, all prior bets will be off. He will get national attention that he needs and the name recognition that comes along with it. It will be impossible for the media to sweep him under the carpet, nor the fact that he will have almost single-handedly averted the nation from a disastrous course.

I have posted previously here that the only two Republican candidates that can beat Hillary in '08 are Rudy and Tancredo. Of course, many oppose Giulianni here because of his social liberalism, but no one can claim that Tancredo is liberal, only that he didn't have the name recognition or politcal horsepower to win.

Tancredo OWNS the illegal immigration issue; no other candidate comes close, except in lip service.

This is _the_ issue that can win the election for our side.

If Tancredo can stop the immigration bill, he will become the power to be reckoned with in the Republican party.

One of the things talk radio has been screaming about is that the back taxes provision was removed from the bill.

I heard on one the talkradio shows - it may have been John and Ken - that it was put back in by McCain.

“”It was the Bush White House that demanded that back taxes be removed from this bill, now we know why.””

Yeah, a devious lot they are.

When I read this in the past I thought they were crazy, but now see it could have been part of the plan.

I don’t think any Senator will go back and propose that the bill disinclude the tax repayment - that would be common sense suicide.

In the meantime, we should start burning the Mexican flag in front of every state house in the country.

Well .. I don’t agree with you.

I only disagree with the President on this one issue.

It’s unfair to color everything he’s done with this one mistake .. and I truly believe it’s a horrible mistake to give 12 mil or so amnesty. But .. I do understand why he’s doing it .. even if I don’t agree with him.

And .. if more repubs had gone to the polls on election day 2006 - we wouldn’t be having to deal with this mess at all. So .. I’m laying this mess directly in the laps of those who were too lazy to vote in 2006.

..... Let him look for a lageacy elsewhere. .....

I never thought I'd live to see the day that a sitting President of either party could make Jimmy Carter look competent but Bush is certainly making a serious run at it.

I echo your thoughts.....just like Popeye said: "I's had enuff and can't stands no more".

The President is going to lose lots of folks on this one....including most of us Republicans here in Texas. He apparently has forgotten that you "dance with the one which brought you."

Borders. Language. Culture.

I’m forced daily to choose between my native English and Spanish.

I hear pigpen dialect in every store.

But, somehow, they walk out with groceries, a “south of the border” money transfer and climb into a new truck with “Gonzalez” on the back glass.

Hey, Jorge’, I’ve got your chalupa and frijoles right here, not to mention McPain, et al.
