Good surfing! That’s a staggering list of imports from China and their values. Where did you get it?
Stalking you?
I guess we must be "stalking" eachother then.
Just yesterday, you posted this gratuitous insult to me when I hadn't even addressed you.
So -- who is stalking who? Hmmm?
It's always the same story with you, restornu. When you are challenged on your claims and you can't deliver the goods, you make a personal attack and retreat. At other times, you just snipe at people who haven't said a thing to you.
Anyway, I'll say anything I want to you, at any time I want to do so -- just as you do toward me.
But you don't like LDS nor Romney and your first post here reek of bulling me!
It had nothing to do with my understanding about the non adulterated foods in Europe they had for years, I do believe things are changing for them too since they sign on for the Euro dollar tready.
And you can say anything you want intolerent, don't mean I will always listen!:)
Hey! Stop stalking me!
“They do not value the individual, but they do value money.”
I think you got it. They are cheating at the risk of killing people and pets for the money.
Duncan Hunter, 1/25/07
“I thought that Republicans didn’t appease communists, and that’s what we did,” he said.
“Today starts the time for choosing for every American manufacturer and laborer. You can either choose to give into China’s cheating or you can choose to join me to enforce fair trade.”

Duncan Hunter is the only presidential candidate that I heard speak up against Communist China.
I missed that quote, thanks!
Thank you, Sun
Yes, TJ's sells Chinese food products. Take a look at the frozen veggies, e.g. snap peas. I complained to our local store manager about it a few days ago.
That may be because they live in areas where theywalk more than in America. The land is a bit more spread out in a lot of places so Americans tend to drive more than Europeans do.
Hmmmmm......maybe a firing squad would be more humane?
Your point that Europeans are not as overweight as Americans and the reasons you cite for this fact.
I've seen that list before, but there are a few important caveats.
#1 At least one of the items that was contaminated with melamine/cyanuric acid (IIRC, it was the wheat gluten) and led to the death/illness of so many cats and dogs in this country was imported as a "nonfood" item through a textile company, and therefore would not have been included on the list you posted.
#2 This export of toxic food products as "nonfood" by small manufacturers is a common practice in China, and the Chinese government has yet to get a grip on the dangerous game. There have been numerous stories in the past few months citing this practice, if you've been following the news at all.
#3 There was an article recently posted concerning the food supply at the upcoming Olympics in China. Athletes will be allowed to bring their own food; bottled water is being imported, and the catering company is not Chinese -- does that give you a clue that the Chinese government itself fears it will be disgraced in the eyes of the world if it relies on the same questionable food supply that is not only illegally exported, but regularly kills/sickens its own citizens?
Follow the money. Nobody gives a shit about anything but the money...including “our” representatives in DC.
I agree that this list doesn't tell us anything about how much contaminated food was imported. It does show that the poster who claimed that "a lot" of the food sold at WalMart is from China, isn't very good at math.
America should not have any business dealings with the ChiComs. That we do is the fault of the Republicans. Hail, Nixon.
That the ChiComs are in Panama and infiltrating everywhere in the Americas is the fault of the Democrats - Hail, Jimmy.
A pox on all of them.
