Obstruction of justice seems to be worse than the crime, per Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and Martha Stewart.

U.S. District Judge J. Owen Forrester told Joya Williams, 42, that he was giving her a longer sentence than recommended by federal prosecutors and sentencing guidelines because, "This is the kind of offense that cannot be tolerated in our society."

Fine, now why didn't our squishy left Dept. of Justice take such a stand with the execrable traitor Sandy Burglar?? The Burglar merely stole and destroyed some of the most highly classified docs from our National Archives in order to obstruct the work of the 9/11 Commission and protect Clintonista failings from facing the light of scrutiny. Of course our society can "tolerate" such felonious behavior from the highest in officialdom.....

I was told that the way Pepsi originally came about was that the recipe was stolen from Coke.

Anyone?

‘I’m a Coke drinker, but it’s worth mentioning that Pepsi was honest & turned this matter over to Coke (and the authorities) as soon as the offer was made.’

They knew if they didn’t, it was their ass to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars. Besides, I have no doubt they already know the formula. Its not like you can’t reverse engineer soda.

And if she had been an illegal alien that killed a family of four while driving DUI ... she’d get a lower sentence.

Yeah, spectroscopy isn't exactly a hard thing to get done. Any two bit chemistry lab could do it.

“”Punishment is the memories and the moments that I’m going to miss,” she said. “Punishment is never having a family of my own.””

She shouldn’t be incarcerated because it would be punishment to keep her locked up?!? WHAT? Oh, and she’s already been punished by God and men who have deprived her of a family in the past, present, and into the future. So you don’t need to trouble yourself to punish her more, your Honor.

I don’t think none of those Companies would want this void of conscience to work for them or in another food industry!

What happen if someday Pepsi unknowingly heir this person who is capable of doing something like this!

It’s best to weed these people out of the work place.

It’s not like she was blackmailed into doing this she was a conniver all on her own!

I wish the government was this hard on those trying to sell government secrets?

“The “Secret Sauce” is just mayonnaise that has been left in the sun.”

Nah. They add relish to mayonnaise and *then* leave it in the sun.

1) She screwed up by letting them try her in Atlanta, ever try to get a Pepsi there?
2) How does a secretary get access to the formula? I thought only two higher ups knew the whole thing?

smart on their part, It could have been a set up and that kind of PR would affect sales far more than whatever they might have been gained by the information. You are right though, good on Pepsi.
