Rep. Frelinghuysen couldn't be any clearer. Particularly if you are in his district (11th, in north-central NJ), let him know that you support his position.

That’s the most refreshing thing I’ve heard from my (former) home state in years.
Are you sure this guy’s in NJ? /s

Yes. I am in his district. He lives about half a mile from me. I could drop by his house and ask him if he meant what he said!

Even if you are not in his district he should be given encouragement to hold his ground on this matter.
I wish this guy could be from my district in Minnesota.

Good for Rodney!!! He used to be my Congressman. I still haven’t heard from Scott Garrett and where he stands on this issue. Though knowing Mr. Garrett’s voting record, I’m sure his position is the same.

The family has a great history in N.J.
I have the Bordens in the 1600s in NJ
FRELINGHUYSEN, THEODORE [1787-1862]
Theodore Frelinghuysen was the second U.S. Senator in the famous New Jersey Frelinghuysen political dynasty that began with U.S. Senator and Major General Frederick Frelinghuysen [1753-1804], Theodore’s father. Although Theodore can not claim the fame his father received from his battlefield exploits, he had quite an interesting national political and educational career himself.
Theodore Frelinghuysen was born on March 28, 1787 in Millstone, Franklin Township, New Jersey. His parents were Frederick Frelinghuysen [1753-1804] and Gertrude Schenck. His siblings were Catherine Frelinghuysen, John Frelinghuysen [1776-1843], a General who married Louisa Mercer, and after her death married Elizabeth Mercereau Van Vechten, Maria Frelinghuysen, and Frederick Frelinghuysen...............

Descended from one of the oldest families in New Jersey.
Now if only we can get a Van Cleef into the House, although I understand old Lee ("The Bad") was a Dem.

NJ has some great congressmen. Most of the scumbags (citizenry and politicians) tend to be concetrated in certain districts around Philadelphia and New York. Still some sensible folks in the western portion of the state, and parts of the south near the shore.

I know. My folks still live there. However, they’re brainwashed into voting all things democrat because the unions tell them to. They essentially live in fear of job loss if they don’t. It a real shame.
I still visit. But I’ll never return.
