Jimmy Carter attacks Blair over Iraq
Herald Sun ^ | 19 May 2007

Posted on 05/19/2007 6:42:00 AM PDT by Aussie Dasher

FORMER US president Jimmy Carter has attacked outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair for his "blind" support of the Iraq war, describing it as a "major tragedy for the world".

In an interview today with BBC radio, Mr Carter was asked how he would describe Mr Blair's attitude to US President George W. Bush. He replied: "Abominable. Loyal, blind, apparently subservient.

"I think that the almost undeviating support by Great Britain for the ill-advised policies of President Bush in Iraq have been a major tragedy for the world."

Mr Blair, who arrived in Baghdad today on an unannounced visit, has suffered politically and personally since declaring his support for Mr Bush after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States.

His backing of the war despite massive public opposition divided his governing Labour Party while the absence of weapons of mass destruction - the basis for war - and apparent manipulation of intelligence eroded trust.

There was further discontent last year when he joined Mr Bush in refusing to back international calls on Israel to stop its bombing of Lebanon.

Jimmah ought to just enjoy life relaxing in Plains and leave the Foriegn Policy to the younger folk.

Two wise rules the traitor Democrats no longer follow:

1. Politics stop at the edge of the water.

2. Ex-presidents keep their mouths shut.

Oh, and a few dozen more, but those are the ones that come to mind in this case.

Something happened in 1968 and it seems as if a third of our country is brain dead. As far as I know, Jimmy Carter was not at Woodstock, but he might as well have been. His brains are fried.

In his own words. I couldn't have said it better.

The real questions to answer are: Which of these two men, Blair or Carter is the smartest?  Which has access to the most current information? Which of these two moved his country forward?  Which left a stronger economy? Which one allowed crazy ayatollahs to take over a country? Which one allowed terrorism on a state level to run rampant and unchecked?  Which one convinced North Korea to give up nukes, lol?

Which one should sane and intelligent people listen to?  (Excuse the dangling participle.)

Indeed. Even as a wee lad of 11 (I'm not Irish or Scottish - I just like the phrase!), I remember the absolute joy that erupted in our school when the announcement came over the loudspeaker that the hostages had been released...which was only after Sweater Boy was out of office.

The best Jimmah death celebrations will,I assume,be in Georgia. For you that would mean a flight from Sydney to LA and then onto Atlanta.Only about 20 hours of flying.

But you'll have a grand time when you get there!!

Jimmy has been out of the news lately and his book sales lagging. He has to do something to get press. Guess this idiotic move is it.

Blair needs to do a Fred Thompson type youtube clip basically taking Jimmy to the woodshed for screwing up the whole situation and making decades of democratic citizens and leaders around the world clean up his droppings.

OK, now I will verbally attack peanuts for brains, er jimmy carter.

Tony Blair freely determined to boldly stand against evil. I thank Tony Blair for this intrepid decision.

Peanuts for brains, er jimmy carter cowers behind statements of dishonor and shame.

I stand against evil and carter. jimmy coward is a coward and a traitor. And if he don’t like being called traitor, then he should stop giving me a reason to do so.

If carter thinks it is that bad in Iraq. Then he should go over there and stand a post. He can fight them there or fight them here. But he won’t fight them anywhere because he sides up with the evil bastages.

That makes jimmy carter a stinkin’ traitor.

That is my attack on jimmy carter the treasonous ex-President with peanuts for brains.

IRAN recently publically stated:

“It’s time for the world to start imagining a world...

...without an America in it.”

.

And thus THE Battle of the 21st Century has just been enjoined.

Pray and prepare.

Isn’t it time that legal action was commenced to put him away in the home for the mentally incompetent? This guy ought to be seen for the out and out traitor he is. The damage he has done to America is incalcuable. He gutted the CIA and laid the foundation which Clinton continued to make us the laughing stock of the world and 9/11 could be laid squarely at his feet.
