Ass always, America is the only evil she sees. Didn’t know they had migrant workers in her neighborhood??

Pray for W and Our Troops

Oh, sorry, I understand your statement now. Yes, Hillary did indeed say it, which is what I thought you were questioning (whether she said such a thing).

Now, is it true? I think this is no more true, than her story on how she was treated when she tried to enlist in the armed forces. Pure political hooey!

...every harvest season we had a lot of the migrants who come up from Mexico...
It would appear that there was a viable Temporary Worker Program even back in the Hildebeasts's youth. Why does a new one need to be created? What has changed in America since then?! /sarcasm

Inherent in her statement is that the workers had to return to Mexico after the crops were harvested in order to “come up from Mexico” the following year.

It seems that someone should be able to research this and find out if it is true or not. I’m the same age as Hillary! and I grew up in a town surrounded by farm land and the story doesn’t ring true to me.

I live near Chicago, and, in the Illinois section of Free Republic, I asked whether Hillary told the truth about her hometown. Someone who lives in a northwest Chicago suburb posted that she lied. He said that no Mexicans lived there before 1970.

CNN reported on June 29, 2006 that Hillary had made this same exact statement to a group at a “Covenant for a New America” religous conference. The only farms in Park Ridge, Illinois that I can find for that time period as is true today are dairy farms. In fact I can only find record of ONE farm there at the time she is talking about and it was a combination dairy farm/amusement park. Unless these migrant workers were carnies running ferris wheels I think we have another Clinton Whopper.

Yes, Hillary did indeed say it,

When I first posted this, I honestly was not sure, so I am grateful for your post #21 with the CNN link. It's still not up at Drudge, but maybe that's because he considers it "old news."

I was a little afraid someone had fooled Roger Hedgecock with a speech by somebody else, and was glad when you confirmed that it really was Her Thighness.

“Kids of migrants weren’t allowed to go to school before the Supreme Court proclaimed they couldn’t be kept out, in the early 80’s.”

LOL Glad to see someone mention this....

In the 30s-40s white AMERICAN children of the Okies (the 8 states that were included in the Dust Bowl) were excluded from public schools in CA and other states, partly because of overcrowding, but mainly due to prejudice...

The same crowd with that mentality would have let MEXICAN illegal aliens enroll their children in middle-to-upper class suburban schools???...

Duh.. I dont think so.....

Nice try Hillary...”I was fortunate that at an early age, through my church, I was given the opportunity to expand my horizons,” ...

Noooooooooo

That’s not how you felt or were taught....Nor was it the way people spoke back then...

Any Sunday School outreach would have been designed to make you feel more uppity, better than, or soooo self-righteous, and I doubt your lily-white skin was within a 100 miles of “migrant” children...

There's a series of dozens of teen books called "The Babysitters Club." Someone who's good at photoshop should mimic one of their book covers to show young HRC babysitting the poor Mexican children.

Scholastic Publ. "Babysitters Club" books

Yesterday, Roger Hedgecock took a call from some guy who went to high school with the Beast. He said the story she's spinning is fake. (Big surprise - eh?)

From today's show -

Unreal Stuff from Mrs. Clinton
May 4, 2007

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Mrs. Clinton, unreal sound bite here. She claims in this sound bite, this was in San Diego, California Democrat state convention on Saturday. She claims to have baby-sat for the children of migrant farm workers from Mexico when she was a child in Illinois.

HILLARY: When I was growing up, the neighborhoods I lived in were surrounded by farm fields, and every harvest season we had a lot of the migrants who would come up from Mexico through Texas, following the harvest all the way up through Illinois and Michigan, and the children would go to school with us, and every Saturday morning, my church group, we'd go out and baby-sit the younger children so that the older children could join their families in the fields.

RUSH: (Laughing) Why have we not heard this before? Why have we not heard this before? We have to be suspicious of this. Remember, Mrs. Clinton said she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary, who was the first to reach the peak of Mt. Everest. The problem is, when she was born, nobody had ever heard of him; he hadn't reach the peak yet. What did you think of the way she sounded? You know, Hillary speaks in dialects wherever she goes. She was in San Diego, southern California, and wherever she goes she has a different dialect. She has a dialect that adapts to that of the audience to whom or which she's speaking. (Playing of Hillary Clinton dialect spoof song.) You might wonder, where has Mrs. Bill Clinton learned to do this? Well, it turns out, she has her own school. She has her own system. (Playing of Hillary dialect system spoof.) I was just thinking, Mike, in a couple days when the media watchdog websites hear this, hear about it, you might want to get the bite of Mrs. Clinton in Selma, which forms the basis of this. By the way, since we're on the subject of Mrs. Bill Clinton, yesterday on the Senate floor, she said this.

HILLARY: The October 11th, 2002, authorization to use force has run its course, and it is time to reverse the failed policies of President Bush and to end this war as soon as possible.

RUSH: Go ahead, do this. You don't have the guts and the courage. This is another one of these political maneuvers designed to placate their base. Have you noticed, in the debate last night the Republicans, when they play to their base, why, that's a crime, when they play to their base, that's insulting, when they play to their base, that's cheap theatrics and politics. The Democrats play to their pace, brilliant strategery. You can't do this, it's already been voted, you voted for it. Now to go back and change it -- I was telling the people at Novi, Michigan, last night outside Detroit, this is something a president cannot do. A president cannot change his mind willy-nilly in matter of days or months or even years, and these people are free to do so. Now, Mrs. Clinton, propose it. You're in the majority in the Senate now and you're in the majority of the House of Representatives. So don't just say this should be done. Go ahead and actually propose it, put it on paper and put it up there. You all want to own defeat, make it official. Now, let's go back, by the way -- in fact, I want to play these two back-to-back so we're going to play six again and seven, we'll follow it, bam, bam. Because we're going to go back to October 10th of 2002 on the same Senate floor. Here is Mrs. Clinton yesterday, and the next bite you will hear after that is October 10th, 2002.

HILLARY '07: The October 11th, 2002, authorization, to use force has run its course, and it is time to reverse the failed policies of President Bush and to end this war as soon as possible.

HILLARY '02: If left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including Al-Qaeda members.

RUSH: Well, let's not forget the rest of this bite, she's not on the Senate floor. She went and talked to some feminist group, might have been Code Pink, I'm not sure who it was, and she said, "Look, I've looked at this intel myself. This is my vote, and it's my decision." This is so cowardly convenient, to just skip out of it and try to revoke the authority all to push a lie, which is that Bush lied. Bush lied about nothing, ladies and gentlemen. He lied about nothing in regards to Iraq, the war on terror. You're living in a media bubble here that just promotes this whole notion, "Well, the American people think Bush lied, 56% of the American people." So what? We're going to respect the opinion of a bunch of uninformed, ignorant people? Why? "Why, that many people think it, it must be true." Sorry, it isn't.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Now, I want to go back, ladies and gentlemen, to March 4th of 2007. This is Mrs. Bill Clinton at the First Baptist Church in Selma, addressing this portion of her remarks that she made at that commemorative rally.

HILLARY: I don't feel no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me.

RUSH: And of course this was a new aspect of Mrs. Clinton's talent. We were all dazzled by this, this ability to speak in dialects. It turns out that Mrs. Clinton actually has a school or a system that you can buy and learn to do exactly what she does. (Playing of Hillary Clinton dialect system spoof.) (Playing of Hillary Clinton Coal Miner's Daughter spoof.) Mrs. Bill Clinton, the vocal interpretation there of Loretta Lynn. Gee whiz.
