Actually, it’s the government schools, union educators and politicians who deserve that “special place in hell”.

"I regret if they have caused misunderstanding, hurt or offense," he announced to fellow lawmakers. "I never meant to disparage the parents who are advocating for their children's best interest."

I believe the phrase best describing this guy is "lying POS".

Imagine the hue and cry if a Republican had made this statement about supporters of a leftist cause.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. If you want on/off this list, please freepmail me. The main Homeschool Ping List by DaveLoneRanger handles the homeschool-specific articles.

Yes, we sure can't have people thinking for themselves, now can we?

ooooooo-KAY...

“”There must be a special place in Hell for these Privatizers, Charerizers (sic), and Voucherizers! They deserve it,” he wrote.”

I’m sure he thinks that spelling and grammar nazis deserve a special place in h*ll, too. Voucherizers? Charerizers?? Where on earth did he get these words?

Oh well, I wish him the best with his throat cancer, but I do hope he becomes a little more tolerant. After all, hate is NOT a family value...

These sentiments are much more common than we think in the minds of many! Oh they will put on a nice, polite, civil show of conversation about a parent’s education choice rights for their own but of course it’s just polite lip service.

Parents need to be as wise as serpents, test the spirits constantly to know for sure where they are from before they divulge anything or bring some stranger into their confidence! These folks are evil, crafty sneaks, liars who want to devour and spit out your children. They hate Jesus Christ, His Word and hate that there is still freedom in this country for the propagating of the Christian faith.

They would kill us if they thought they could get away with it. It’s not that bad yet, but given a few more generations of kids indoctrinated by Christ-haters in the government schools, and Christians will be heading for the catacombs.

I am sometimes asked why I concentrate my efforts on government school issues. The reason is that I believe that if the government schools are not shut down our nation will perish. The evil of government schools is that serious.

Funny, I am of the opinion that public schools themselves are godless hells. They’ll put me in the ground before I will let my children attend one.

As a teacher, I like the idea of charter schools, vouchers and other programs. I have no problem with public funds funneling into private schools.

Why? Because once some of the students get into those schools they continue to fail, even in the face of what those schools offer: smaller classes, stricter discipline, etc.

And lo and behold, for once it is not the teacher or the school, who is at fault.

Education is too important to be left to parents. Strangers, yes. Parents, no.

School choice and abortion are the most important public policy issues today. In the short term, abortion is the more imporant because of the sheer loss of life. But abortion will not become unacceptable until parents are given control of schooling, through vouchers.

Education is **NEVER** morally ( religiously), culturally, or politically neutral. The consequences for the children and our nation are ENORMOUS!

Atheistic Marxists now control the moral, cultural, and political education of our nation’s children, and WILL determine the moral, cultural, and political direction of this nation.

It is for this reason that government schools MUST be eliminated.

By the way, when education is privatized more children ( although not all) will achieve literacy and numeracy.

Do you have empirical evidence to back this up? Even those who drop out have gotten something from the government school system, much more than they would have gotten at home.

Yep!

When vouchers are awarded randomly, by lottery, those who leave the government school system do better than those who applied but were not accepted.

Every study. Every time!

I think there is also a need for a massive education, or re-education, of this generation. I think if this generation were actually exposed to the truth about American history and the truth about things that we just take for granted,, like capitalism, private property and critical thinking,,, I think they would embrace it!

Isn't it peculiar how they believe there is hell only when they are condemning someone to it. But, otherwise the discussion of hell relating to Judeo-Christian morality, what this nation’s rights are founded upon, is unconstitutional and illegal in a public school speech or a university graduation speech. So, are they unofficially endorsing “religion” when condemning someone to hell?
