Proof is presented every day and front and center comes from a Bloomberg Report that details that visitors to the Gaia Napa Valley Hotel and Spa won't find the Gideon Bible in the nightstand drawer. Instead, on the bureau will be a copy of "An Inconvenient Truth," former Vice President Al Gore's book about global warming.
Got that. If you want to read a bit before bed and get a little inspiration, instead of scripture you get to read some alarmist propaganda from a man that worships the earth while traveling around it in a private jet.

Al Gore and his book are becoming a caricature of the environmental movement. How effective can Al Gore be as a spokesman if he is perceived as a caricature and not a genuine person?
Technically, BS is supposed to go in a field. HS is supposed to go down the toilet.
Both contribute to global warming, though, as all matter, fecal or literary, does.
I was thumbing through that book at my campus bookstore. It appears to have been written by a highschool student and is full of conjecture, poor extrapolation and ommision of evidence to the contrary.
Lesbians on their honeymoon can now atone for their carbon emissions by reading a little Al Gore before sack time.
Words cannot describe how absolutely sick I feel about this. Over the years many, many lives have been saved for eternity because travelers have been able to open the Word of God in their hotel rooms and have accepted Christ as their Savior. To deny them this opportunity for the sake of political propaganda is beyond despicable.

The biblical term "fool" (hebrew: nabal - impious, abandoned, wicked, ungodly)describes this type accurately, IMO.
Imagine the headline if some corporation sponsored books with Hillary’s “unauthorized” (*spit) biography, Ann Coulter’s or Rush Limbaugh’s or Sean Hannity’s books in each room.
- there is tithing (donations to Greenpeace, Earth First, etc)
- there is the notion of sin (polluting)
- there are indulgences (carbon offset credits)
- there are oracles/prophets (GW researchers) and high-priests (Al Gore, celebrities)
- they rely on indoctrination at a young age
- it is considered blasphemy to go against their "wisdom"
- all evidence is to be interpreted only in light of their unquestionable "truths"
- they are moral busybodies that want to push their views on everyone else
- people who do not strictly follow their guidelines are considered immoral
- people who publicly support opposing views are said to be possessed by evil entities (corporations)
- violence is advocated by the most extreme adherents (ELF, ALF, Earth First, etc) to promulgate their "truths"
- they say we are DOOMED FOR ETERNITY unless we listen to them
- if we go against the will of their god (Gaea), their god will punish us (hurricanes, floods, disease, searing heat)
Is Al Gore Christ-like?
Time will tell if his preaching converts many people to the religion of carbon offsets.
And Al says we have 10 years before we reach the point of no return on global warming. After that, it’s time for environmental Armageddon. Unless, of course, we all buy enough carbon offsets so we can claim to be “carbon neutral”.

Well, Gore’s movie put me to sleep in the first five minutes so if his book is half that effective as a soporific the guests of the Gaia Spa will be well rested.
