Too bad that Dana Perino was merely speaking “on behalf of” President Bush - I would have preferred that President Bush had said that himself.

Further, the wishy-washy use of the passive mood (”...laws should be followed”) is disgusting. It would have been much better had someone said “It is the duty of the U.S. government to enforce these laws.”
