The terms “idiot and “insane” will be replaced by the single term “democrat”.
It's a litle tougher changing the state constitution I guess?
What a coincidence...I use the same words to describe liberals.
Strike that phrase and add this one:
"No freakin' moron, mental-midgit jerkoff, nutbag who stalks women and masturbates excessively, or freakish ***hole idiot creep son-of-a-***** maniac, shall be entitled to the privileges of an elector."
Somehow I just KNEW you’d be on this thread.

the jokes write them selves.
Moron comes from Greek moros `foolish, stupid.' It was coined as a scientific term by Dr. Henry H. Goddard and proposed to the American Association for the Study of the Feebleminded by him in 1910. It was accepted by the Association and described a person suffering from mental deficiency who was between eight and twelve years in mental age and who possessed an I.Q. (Intelligence Quotient) below 75. It was the highest rating of a mentally deficient person, the two lower ratings being imbecile and idiot.

New York State passes law allowing the sterilization of "defectives." A Board of Examiners was established to investigate the mental and physical condition of those labeled, idiot, imbecile, beeble-minded or who were criminals. It was then determined if any of those examined had the potential to pass on their "defective" traits that they should be sterilized.
Does that mean Traficant can get out of jail ?
I just KNEW you’d just KNOW.
No, they will be replacing them with “Dimocrat” and “liberal”
This is a pervasively stupid attitude in our society. When a word is consistently used to identify an undesirable trait, we identify the word as being bad, rather than the trait it is used to identify.
If we stop referring to crazy people as “insane”, do they become rational? If we stop using the word “blind”, are the blind people suddenly able to see? If we expunge “deaf and dumb”, will those people be able to hear and speak?
We have already corrupted the word “special” by using it to refer to people who have serious mental defects. All this accomplished was to ruin the word.
I, myself, have deformed hands. It’s not something I dwell upon, so I seldom discuss it, but avoiding descriptive words would do absolutely nothing to ameliorate my condition.
We really need to get past this obsession with descriptive words, and focus on things that will really make life better.
Interestingly, doctors, scientists, and engineers have come up with many ways to help the “insane”, “blind”, and “deaf”, none of them involve obsessing about words.
The chattering classes are among the least productive and most destructive elements of our society, yet they wield an inordinate amount of power. They include judges, lawyers, politicians, “news” people, and even many “educators”. What we really need is for more of these people to shut up, and do something productive for a living.
Sadly, in the 1800s WV passed legislation stating that blacks could not marry. Even more sadly, the law was forgotten until the early 1990s. It was quietly repealed during a mysterious midnight session of the legislaturewhen no press were present. The only reason I know is because I worked for a legislator at the time.
I often wondered about the guys that got screwed in a divorce settlement.
Are those idiots in the Ohio Senate insane?
Sorry you can’t use the word insane.....(sarc)
