That is nothing less than ludicrous. McCain’s patriotism is beyond reproach. There are some things in life you earn, and can never be taken away from you or questioned. Six years being tortured in a prison camp while defending your country — that means your patriotism has been tested more than 99.9% of Americans alive today .... AND EARNED.

As for attacks on his intelligence, judgment and sanity — well, I guess it’s a sad fact of life that he sacrificed virtually everything he had for his country just so people like you can prattle away on your keyboard about his (lack of) character.

Talk about ludricous. Benedict Arnold was, by all accounts a patriot beyond reproach. Until he wasn't.

Robert E. Lee was a famously patriotic American right up until the moment when he agreed to lead an army against this country. One's patriotism at the moment is defined by how one is behaving at the moment. Personally, I don't question McCain's patriotism, just his judgement. But, again, if he is choosing to run for president, I would hope that at least some Americans are doing so.

Maybe Max Cleland ought to be your presidential candidate.

“he drank deeply of the global warming koolaid”

Indeed, how else to get his good buddies in the Drive-by Media to forgive him and never replay the “Bomb Bomb Iran” clip.

He made a little boo-boo there; which the Drive-by’s would have used as a hammer to pound him relentlessly; but now he has taken up the Global Warming mantra, he will once again be that “Courageous Maverick Republican” who they just adore.

I think the libs and hollyweirdo’s are really pissed at Sheryl for her little TP joke because she revealed their long-term agenda.

TP regulations are probably Phase 6 of the Master Plan.

PHASE ONE: the masses must be forced to accept regulations on transportation (i.e. outlaw SUV’s; mandate public transportation)

PHASE TWO: the masses must be forced to accept regulations on interior lighting (flourescent bulb mandates)

PHASE THREE: the masses must be forced to accept regulations for interior temperature levels (northerners must wear more sweaters in winter while southerners must relinquish their Air Conditioners in the summer)

PHASE FOUR: the masses must be forced to accept regulations on travel (if you choose to use up your travel credits commuting to work, you won’t have any left for travelling on vacation)

PHASE FIVE: the masses must be forced to adopt vegetarian diets (raising livestock for food is too wasteful) AND Reproduction regulations: (1 child per couple like the ChiComs)

PHASE SIX: This is where the TP regulations could be enacted. After the masses have given up every other freedom they once enjoyed, it will be easy to regulate bathroom behavior.

Sheryl just leaked the agenda way ahead of schedule.

The old trite and true saying: a man is judged by the company he keeps. Remember that when you see McCain in Bloomberg's company. He's lost it!

I look at people like her and just am in amazement that such vapid, empty headed, supposed-entertainers could believe they know what is best for the rest of us.

“Maybe Max Cleland ought to be your presidential candidate.”

It may pain you to know this, but new generations of Americans will be reading about Cleland and McCain and their sacrifices under our flag long after you and whatever comparatively miniscule contributions you have made to this country are long gone.

It doesn't pain me to know that at all. I salute Cleland and McCain for everthing that they've done in the past, but when it comes to running the contry right now, all I care about is where a person's head is right now. Nobody is above criticism. You sound like a person who would have supported Hitler in Germany because he fought bravely in WW I.
