So you prefer Hillary, then?

Because that's the choice you know; a not-so-socially-conserevative Republican or another eight years of the Clintons.

“So you prefer Hillary, then?”

LOL! Rudy and McPain are as bad as Hillary.
No backbone will get you MORE socialism, NO gun rights and more moral decline with either Hillary, Rudy or McPain.

“Because that’s the choice you know; a not-so-socially-conserevative Republican or another eight years of the Clintons.”

Some of us won’t settle for another four years of Clintons under another name - Rudy or McPain. Hillary, Rudy, McPain - they’re all the same. They should ALL be running as Democrats. You’re silly threats are boring. You ought to just vote for Hillary and be done with it.

Doesn't sound so bad to me. I lived through eight years of that hell before. If that is my choice, then I go third party. I will have plenty of time to decide which one.

Personally, I think this country just may have to burn before it gets better: the last American citizens who truly understood the meaning of sacrifice are rapidly departing from this world.

Pre-emptive surrender by picking a RINO is a really friggin’ stupid way to go.

In my opinion, everyone is looking at this election backwards. They are all picking their primary candidate based on how they will fare in the general.

That's asinine.

You pick the candidate in the primaries that most closely resembles your views. If you think Rudy will be the best President, vote for him. But you are voting for him based on electability you are going to lose every time.

Democrats always pretend to be conservatives to get elected. Remember when the reporter in 2004 tried to get Kerry to admit he was a liberal during the debate? He couldn't do it. The 2004 Democratic Convention was a stage production for fake patriotism. They win by the narrowest margins by convincing the mush in the middle to give them the benefit of the doubt.

What happens when the Republicans start acting and talking like liberals? They lose. Every time we vote for a squishy, quasi-conservative because he's "electable" we get a bigger, more powerful government, and the balance of power between the three branches gets further out of whack.

If the Republicans continue to operate under this "bigger tent" theory, our choices will soon change from Democrat or Republican to Communist or Socialist. If the Democrats didn't shoot themselves in the foot in their eagerness to push us over the edge every time they get in power we would be there already.

Sorry to but in, but I don't think Hillary is as bad as she thinks she is.

Besides, if we could find a person who can convey the Conservative message like Reagan did, that person would probably win as many States as Reagan did.

It is about the issues. The person who can convince the American people that he/she can protect those issues, that person will win the election.

Hillary, Hussein, or any other Goreish candidate can not and will not protect issues like Security, Guns, God, and babies. This is what separates the liberals from the Conservatives.

If you don't give the Conservatives a reason to go to the voting booth, they my not show up. Check the '06 election and Border Security.

The media is about as right on Rudy as they were on Coward Dean. It is OK. Relax. Do not fear Hillary that much.

You have no one to blame but YOURSELVES for supporting a candidate simply because you’re afraid of Hillary. If Rudy gets the nod, and Hillary beats him, YOU will be to blame. Period.

So, your insuring that the liberals will continue to take control of the Republican party. I alway knew that the "At least we're not as bad as the other guys" platform of the Republicans was effective (I bought it myself for several years). The problem is that now they have gotten bold enough to run a flat out liberal - not me.
I would rather have a known enemy than I had an enemy that causes Rudybots - who buy anything he spews just because he hangs a "Republican" label on it.
An enemy of the Republic is an enemy of the Republic, no matter what party flag he drapes himself in.
Rudy - Hillary just like heads and tails of a quarter; they look and feel a bit different - but in the end they spend the same.
I will not vote for Rudy period.

Yeah, that choice worked so well for us when we nominated the "not-so-socially-conservative" Bob Dole in 1996. You've been listening to the drive-by media's political advice too much.

Sometimes its better to have you enemies in front of you.

With Rudy in the White House we can watch Congress passing a leftwing agenda with ‘Pubbie help and Rudy enthusiastically signing it.

With Hillary!, we might hope for some gridlock...

“So you prefer Hillary, then?”

It is YOU who must prefer Hillary (or Obama), because if the Republican candidate is Rudy, strong conservatives will stay home, or vote 3rd party.

Remember the 2006 elections?

If you are sincere, and REALLY don’t want Hillary (or Obama) as your next president, don’t compromise your principles. Support a CONSERVATIVE.

If we run a liberal against a liberal, we will end up with a liberal.

No, it isn’t. Hillary is not assured the nomination, and the Republicans have other candidates and potential candidates who can defeat whoever the Democrats nominate.
