Obama had to wait to see how things were going before calling for Imus's firing. He waited again to jump the rappers. Whatever Obama has to offer, decisive leadership is not part of the package.

Obama compares rappers to Imus

‘Bama is such a slut, and like you said ‘leadership is not part of the package’

And all this Gansta rap has been promoted by the big record companies for 20 years.

BTW, Tipper Gore was once a vocal critic of similar lyrics(pre rap) but shut up overnite once Al got the nod from the Democrats and the same record moguls for national office.

Is that another way of saying that Osama Obama is an empty suit?

And don't think for a moment that Barack or Hillary or any liberal will lift a finger against record companies should they find themselves in office.

Bill Clinton criticized Sista Soulja, but once elected, did nothing.

It has been 6 years, so remember, Democrat words are meaningless.

"The Illinois senator was responding to a question of what inspired him, and said God and civil rights activists."

Which God, Osama? Allah or Yahweh? No, they aren't the same. Al Sharpton and Jackson race baiters aren't who I would admit to admiring in public. That'll cost you a few points as well.

Um, Barack, Tipper Gore beat you by about 20 years. Nice of you to join the party, though.

I’m actually impressed by his comments, and it isn’t the first time.

His ‘04 election night speech calling for Democrats to accept the results of Bush’s re-election and move forward was a refreshing change from the squeals of ‘we wuz robbed’ and the tantrums thrown by the rest of his Democrat peers.

I’m not supporting him for President and I don’t agree with his political views as a whole - but he’s well spoken and one of the few Democrats I actually have some respect for.

I do think we've seen a coarsening of the culture," Obama said

Ain't no 'I think' about it and no 'we've seen'. It is and we did it.

Rappers don't inspire Obama but they're useful to him nonetheless.

Obama jacking street cred with homey Ludacris.

"It's two a.m. in the morning and it uhh..
Light showers and you're probably hookin up with that girl
That's been, two-wayin you all week. her baby daddy's out
Of town so uhh, you can f#*k around. it's okay to check in
That motel 6. $59.95, not a cent more, for that dirty-ass ho.
Yeah. stop by that convenience store and pick up them rubbers -
Magnum i hope. this is phazon love and uhh, i love hoes.
I just don't pay 'em!"

"Cut up! know we like that, get that cut up
Freaky thangs, we be bout 'em
Get that cut up! oh-whooooooo, cut up
Freaky thangs, we be bout 'em"

Ludacris - Word of Mouf
(Warning: The rest of the lyrics are, more blatantly, XXX)

Ludacris has about six albums worth of songs like this.
Probably 10% are about drugs and/or violence instead of just hoes.
It's obvious how much he "loves" black women.

considering the number of times obama will have to decide on a racial issue like this, he will no doubt lose the black vote. a sell-out black politician is worse than a pandering white politician to most blacks...just look at how much they love the clintons
