Terrorism: The Italian and Afghan governments have learned a hard lesson from their dealings with Taliban rebel kidnappers: What you get when you grant concessions to Islamofascists is dead bodies.

It was learned this week that Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi's government apparently paid $2 million to Taliban terrorists for release of an Italian free-lance photographer abducted in Afghanistan last fall.

Shelling out a pricey ransom may have worked in saving that one person, but it also let the terrorists know that hostage-taking can be an effective way to get what they want.

My dim recollection is not only that this was known within days of the resolution, but that marked/bills known to have been part of the actual payment were found in possession of the "victim" herself.

Another Liberal/Socialist politician whom feels he can trade the larger picture of more body counts now and mass casualties later. Like Pelosi, he wants to be viewed as a hero in the here and now so he can get re-elected. I am beginning to fully understand the prophecies of Isaiah, Christ and the other apostles whom spoke of the last days of people being self-centered, puffed up with pride, lovers of money rather then being lovers of God. The West will temporarily fall to the new Axis, I can see the writing on the wall. We will unite and win the final great war but damn, what a shame we couldn’t do anything about it now!
