Close but no cigar. Farah comes way too close to Hillarism’s main claim “it’s for the CHILLLDREN”. Turning the dial might be good enough, actually. Farah is concerned about what is being played in the house next door. Isn’t that their business.
That's a cop out. It's the good old desire for Rights, without shouldering the concurrent Responsibilities.
What's being played at the next door neighbor's isn't just his business; it's also his responsibility. The instant the lack of taking responsibility slops over his property line and effects other members of society, it becomes their business as well. At that point, does society force the original slacker to live up to his responsibilities, or does it subsume them, due to his harmful negligence, and act without his input?
When it spills out from the ghetto, into the neighbor yard, into the public square, and out across this land via the public airwaves, it's everyone's business .
