I’m watching him now and fear is written all over his wrinkled face, if he is going to do an ‘apology tour’ it should include calling Bushs’ Admin. ‘war criminals’.
Words mean things and he the king of saying ‘mean things’.

The nitpicking about his apology is just that. I believe him.
If you’re that cynical about Imus, there are other channels on you TV. Life is too short to be offended and irritated.
He’s not calling the sportsguy fat today.

Thats what I thought also — he has fear written all over him. As I posted on the daily talk show thread, this is the end for IMUS. Even if he retains his job, the show will change. Part of his success has always been his socially unacceptable statements...and that is over, regardless.
IMUS will have to agree to go into rehab before he is forgiven! LOL
Reading this story has me thoroughly shocked and disgusted...

Looks a little gloomy around that studio today, doesn’t it? Imus turned that studio into an empty warehouse.
I didn’t say something stupid and in my apology say people I didn’t like might have said the same thing or worse than I did.

With the attention this is garnering, I imagine they’re going Krazy Glue Bernard’s mouth shut for the foreseeable future.
He should not be doing this. The line of people who can’t be offended is just going to get longer.
Maybe Sharpton will offer his own apology for the Tawana Brawley hoax. Then the “healing” can begin.
The Reverend comes in handy for tax shelter purposes.

I really don’t think he’s going anywhere. He certainly didn’t do this for ratings because they have been going up anyway.
This will make his ratings go up even more. It’s a controlled train wreck, and who doesn’t like to watch a train wreck?
