He should say 'ok, I messed up but I did my mea culpa and it's over. You clowns should either get off my back or start a list of people throughout your own community who need to change or go. Anything less is racism on your part for targeting the white guy....'.
That may be so but it's even worse to see and hear all the bleeding hearts lecturing the great masses on cultural sensetivities ad nauseum. It's a media feeding frenzy/circus that goes way beyond Imus's remarks in the first place.
Where is the Freeper Photoshop team?
This morning, Don Imus was talking to James Carville on the phone and Don Imus said that he really feels bad because it's not like he's some right-wing racist whack job. Carville, followed that up with something along the lines of how it's somewhat worse because it's not expected from Don Imus, it may be expected from some racist right-wing radio hosts out there but not from somebody (on the left) like Don.
I don't feel sorry for the S.O.B. at all. Don Imus has been nuetered by a race-baiting poverty pimp and I'm enjoying every minute of it.
That would be great, but I doubt he has the fight in him for that response.
BTW, I’m not a fan of his show but this story is just ridiculous.
Isn’t this discussion lasting a day too long?
I hate to see all the good brains on FR wasted on this kind of fodder.
It’s so over..... just another event for hysteria in the media and we follow it like sheep.
Carefully orchestrated mea culpa - with the girls ‘not forgiving Mr. Imus’ - what kind of positive message is being taught at that particular university of ‘get even’?
Looks like this might be used to go on a witch-hunt of sorts against right-wing talk radio. If you can't beat'em, get them kicked off the radio.
Imus’ slams against us will increase in frequency and vitriol...we are the only ‘safe’ target left and the folks he needs to show up and save his boney ass are all small ‘c’ commies.
If the P.C. scam artists get their way most of the English language will be out of bounds.
