Actually Its not sad at all - this is run by Margaret Thatcher's mentor. Not bad at all. Rudy has chosen well. Also Ronald Reagan used a think tank too. Apparently before you bash Rudy for using one - read the whole article.

Rudy is no, I will say again, no Reagan. They need to stop insulting Reagan by trying to equate a well known liberal cross dresser with Renaldus Magnus.

If he wins the Republican nomination, I will not vote for him, a liberal, in the general election. I've already made that quite clear.

The truth is, I feel that having a liberal candidate will doom the Republicans in 08 and beyond. Apathy amongst the conservatives on the right will insure that RINO Rudy will not be able to gather enough votes from the moderates and the left to make up for major losses from the base on the right.

The answer is, IMO, to put a popular enough conservative on the Republican ticket to get out the vote on the right along with taking the most votes they can from the center, and perhaps even some from the left. Mr. Thompson fits that criteria the best, IMO, and even if Mr. Romney or Mr. McCain were to get the nomination I would still vote for them, although not happily.

Fair Opinion - I want to thank you for posting so many good articles about Rudy and for your unfailing niceness in his defense.

don't vote... just stay home and smoke pot or whatever. I don't care. He will draw more votes than push away votes, so stay home.

I'm concerned about the war. He'll win the war and gainer support for the war. I put everything secondary to the war... gay stuff, abortion stuff, divorcee stuff , all secondary to the war.

So stay home. You vote is not needed. Every vote doesn't count this election when you have an overwhelming force like Guiliani.

You keep on believing that. I am of the opinion you're making a fatal miscalculation, and I for one consider RINO Rudys record concerning the second amendment to be his fatal flaw. The real mudslinging between dims and Republican hasn't even begun and you are going all in at this point in time for a liberal? Ridiculous!

I see no difference between him and HRC, either winning the election is a loss for America. HRC simply speeds up the process to turning the U.S. into a socialist nightmare, and RINO Rudy will simply continue that process, where a conservative President will at least stall that progression, if not help turn the tide against it.

Winning the WOT is pointless if we simply hand over our basic liberties in the Bill of Rights by electing a gun grabbing liberal while congress is filled with dims.

And I think you're psychotic with your 'overwhelming force like Giuliani' statement. You seem to be mistaking this forum for DU. If you believe that conservatives will be motivated to get out the vote as they did in 2004 while being force fed a liberal POS candidate like RINO Rudy you are only kidding yourself, and if you think that those numbers don't matter when we've had such close elections the last two cycles you are certifiably delusional, IMO.

"This wasn't political strategy, it was policy," said Siegel, a history professor at the Cooper Union for Science and Art and author of "Prince of the City, Giuliani, New York and the Genius of American Life." "This wasn't Karl Rove and Bush. Giuliani is far more cerebral than the president."

Giuliani says the new approach contributed to the huge crime drop that New York experienced while he was mayor. Homicides in the city plummeted from 1,927 in 1993 to 671 in 2000, according to FBI statistics. Major crimes - which include aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, rape - fell by 57 percent

"I owe the Manhattan Institute more than most," Giuliani said at its 2006 awards dinner, "because they gave us a lot of the ideas and a lot of the direction and a lot of the change in thinking that was necessary."

And there is no question that Rudy is a good student.

And as it turns out Reagan was a good student of a think tank too. But no one seemed to read that part of the article.

And how lucky for you, 80% of conservatives haven't a clue what kind of policies he's in favor of.

Then 80% of conservatives in this country live under a rock if that is the case!

That poll is crap!

To you guys every poll is CRAP if it shows Rudy in the lead. Apparently until a poll shows your guy in the lead it isn't worth the price of beans. Very fair of you all to think that way (/sarcasm)!

You are deliberately lying.

How is he lying? He posted the following -

"Rudy is no, I will say again, no Reagan. They need to stop insulting Reagan by trying to equate a well known liberal cross dresser with Renaldus Magnus."

Rudy is no Reagan. Rudy's policies are liberal!

There are plenty of pictures of Rudy in a dress, with Don Trump feeling him up even!

Where is your sensibility?

Uh no, area. 80% is INSANE! I do not have one friend who will vote for that twit. That poll is skewed. Give me 50 grand and a phone bank, and you will get whatever outcome you want.

All polls are fixed, not just this one.
